    I just kinda cringe when I hear it. Since I read that red tagers (okpowedah) post/ synopsis over at easteruswx i think mgorse posted the last time I mentioned the terms are interchangeable a couple of years ago

    I don’t think it’s possible for a surface low to “give or transfer energy”. Even the graphic that was posted mentions redevelopment.

    Surface Low pressure system dies out and then redevelops off the coast… for every action there is an opposite reaction.

    I think they are accounting for heavy snow bands, since this is still an overrunning event there will be a much wider swath of snow
