  1. I’d also expect solid snow ratios adding to fluff factor
  2. This NW trend for Sunday is completely against this winters trend. Surprisingly I think all of Bucks will see 5+ inches of snow. This will over perform.
  3. This seems to be the pattern, if this MLK storm stays south or we are fringed again I’d consider writing off this winter.
  4. I’ll have to look at the actual super 8 film roll and see if it was ‘77 or ‘76. I know ‘78 had a nice Nor’Easter.
  5. I think ‘76 had an appreciable storm. I actually have Super 8 video of it.
  6. Overcast and 26 degrees in Jamison. not even a flake. I feel like I’m in middle school during the early 70s expecting at least a delayed opening and nothing.
  7. Follow the pattern, let’s see if the cold dry air consuming tonight and tomorrow’s QPF isn’t as advertised
  8. I was just thinking it should pull warm air off the ocean, but maybe not with temps BN As always thanks
  9. It’s gotta be an intern running the GFS and just having a good laugh.
  10. With a storm that intense and close to the coast, wouldn’t there be mixing issues. I know it’s fantasy land but just saying.
  11. Another week of “MASSIVE BLIZZARD COMING” barrage of YouTube thumbnails on the way.
  12. Everybody over at the MA forum are having a good laugh about it
  13. Philadelphia has its own sub forum. Mid Atlantic is an excellent resource for information for any forum including the NY forum
  14. Would it be strong enough to overcome the dry air from the confluence.
  15. Yeah man get it out of here. Any way you can plow it away into upstate New York
  16. Confluence is forcing dry air eating up potential accumulation along with a weaker surface low
  17. MA forum mentioned that the it’s missing on this latest run on GFS
  18. What are the models using now rather than actual data from the w pac
  19. From what I understand is this is an overrunning event. Moisture won’t come from coastal redevelopment. Models pushing this south are picking up on a “lobe” from the PV above Maine is what might be causing the southward trend
