  1. GFS gets the 850 0°C line up to Plymouth and the 925 line almost up to Boston. Yet the Para doesn't get the 850 line any further than the outer cape, and the 925 line just up to the canal. Makes a big difference in why SE MA jacks on the Para.
  2. You could see the subtle differences at h5 on the 0z NAM from 18z that compared favorably with the 12z run.
  3. I think this NAM run will be more like the 12z run instead of that awful 18z run.
  4. That Euro solution looks to be a warmer one for many S of Boston compared to the 12z. Any thermals available on the 18z run?
  5. What I like about the EPS is the consistency of the best placement from 12z yesterday to 12z today.
  6. Well at least where I am, those 925's are -3° to -5° during the peak qpf period.
  7. 850 and 925 never get up past the outer cape. Dynamic cooling for the win.
  8. Actually, the GGEM is better for EMA areas than the 0z. And the NYC types must be on the ledge after this run compared with the 0z run.
  9. These various maps seem to have their own thermals that determines whether the qpf falls as rain or snow.
  10. Ukie went way west this run. Drops over 1.5" qpf here with just 3" of snow. Upper levels cold, surface temps in mid 30's. Haven't they heard of dynamic cooling, lol. Like the GFS, the 850 line and the 925 line don't make it to the canal.
