Ahh light rain finally, squeezed in a break between the tropical storm feeder bands

We have a coup in the making! the herpyderp and RGEM nailed it! a little east with the heavy rain band but by gosh they had a clue. A torrent in progress.

So far it's rained today non stop complete with puddles, NAM has zero qpf and GFS is .01". Houston we have a problem with model error.

Yeah got to see them up close and personal living a couple miles off the end of the runway. Close enough sometimes I could toss up a water bottle or frosty IPA to a thirsty pilot, those were the days

0z ECM and GFS try to repeat the Memorial Day weekend multi day cold disasterthon storm next weekend. Something to watch considering how the GFS nailed it from a week out. This cold/hot seesaw pattern is ridiculous.

First cicada here at my location. Literally one of them in the woods, matches the severe season
