I think i have a few comrades left in this first half of ultimate misery, Boston. Last i heard they only have a couple inches of snow.

12z GFS is amazing it rains then it pounds to the south with snow and leaves Central Jersey with an inch

Howell or as i call it Death Valley

It has snowed south of me for hundreds of miles. It has accumulated as close as 5 miles to my west. It has snowed to the north of me. It has probably snowed in the ocean to my east. This is it my Plan 9 From Outer Space of a Winter. Champion.

Couple more days to complete the worst first half of winter in my lifetime i can taste it. No accumulation and no flakes without rain mixed in. Even if i scrape 1" tonight it is still the worst unmitigated disaster of a lifetime can't think of another. Oh yeah the 15" rain is the topper to make sure it can never be beat.

I like how what was once to be a daytime snow is now a night only snow for what falls and the <1" line is now south of Howell and north of Qtown lol

0z GFS for us and MA crew Confluence shreds the WAA and blocking high so strong storm exits east of Cape Hatty

Further north on the NAM 3" in Chicago but further south in Jersey can't penetrate I195 through hour 35 0z NAM is awful

No the angle of the snow is different this time on most models

Another nice bump for south of the Mason Dixon at 18z, here nothing. Must be the cosmic wind interacting with the northern jet.

In case nobody has seen this yet the Jan 20 storm on today's ECM with a precipitation gradient so exactly matching this weekends storm it looks fake like you got to be kidding me

^^^ Actually it gets even better they just celebrated another .10" increase and we decreased this time by around .02" lol Must be one hell of strong jet streak like the ones they have on Saturn to do that

Been following the MA thread and the joy as every 6 hours totals get bumped up yet the "wall" seems to run through Philly north of it the only increases have been in hundreths of an inch. This is the worst confluence problem since 2010, only that in 2010 Monmouth still got pummeled lol

Check out the GFS#2 at hour 330 for more hilarity as a southern ice storm is snow to mix here with the low exiting east off hatteras but that is only after another snow ice event in the south just days after our next rainstorm lol lock it in

You can feel there will be one big storm coming probably in February that will prevent an unmitigated disaster
