  1. Still have full cover here in open yard, but in Qtown it's 50/50 patchy which means I did an inch or two better. Curious where that 8" report from Kathy Orr came from which was when I was only at 5.5" before the last 2.5" fell
  2. Boston and Miami slated to have the same 59F temperature Christmas morning. I bet that's never happened.
  3. Possibly the strongest for the time of year on record
  4. 12z ECM with a near identical weird super front passage on New Years day
  5. Directed by JI Hot dogs a plenty available at the concession stand from Greenskeeper
  6. Yep cloudy here AGAIN and it's not suppose to be
  7. Yeoman effort a real hot dog super trooper.
  8. Unlucky 13 years now without a good snow light.
  9. My head will be in a jar like futurama by then will need somebody to walk me outside.
  10. Get another crack at the conjunction in twenty years...
  11. Dirty sky with slight blue and filtered sun, viewing conditions for the conjunction are hanging on by a thread.
  12. 9F low locally, lower elevation sensors got down to 4F. Looks good out there driving around yesterday evening with the xmas lights.
  13. Little bit of sleet Christmas morning then some flakes after the thunderstorm, the flood and the damaging winds. Santa is in trouble it's 2020.
  14. Potential for beach chair 55-60F temps xmas eve until around sunrise then temps dropping into the 20's xmas day late evening it's going to be interesting. Also Thunderstorms and torrential downpours Christmas morning and high wind
  15. Telleconnections are favorable for winter weather from Christmas through early January, not too often that happens.
  16. Important news is the great conjunction is in jeopardy on the 21st looks cloudy. Just 800 years for the next chance
  17. This storm reminds of one we had in I think the winter of 2017 forecasted for 12-18" area wide and it dry slotted and I got something like 7"
  18. Successfully warned everyone I know not to believe in the big numbers that sleet would keep it down at 8" or possibly less
  19. Dozens of measurements here average 8" on the grass, which means inflated number, but with sleet and compaction it probably cancels out the inflation who knows. Also taking into account measurements in the region it's probably right. 2" backside snow got it to bare minimum expectation.
  20. The dry slot has daggered NYC region as well, and it wasn't on the models out there.
  21. The heavy radar echoes that just moved through were light sleet. 6" total now including the sleet.
