    The holidays looks promising, then the period immediately after them Jan 4, then a window was open for Jan 8-10, that got pushed to the 12-13th then the 16-17th, have patience 24-25th is going to get it done this time but nah too much west coast troughing which came out of nowhere let's try the 27-28th oops more like Jan 30-31st

    Oh it sucks alright, should have punted but meh 5 more days left in my lack of snow pandemic extension. The only thing left on the table for us is snow on the backside as the blocking begins to recede, or Ralphs eleven days of winter 1/27-2/7.

    The cold buildup in Canada is three weeks late this year due to torch Pacific.

    Never seen a winter that looked so bad on paper, then looked so good on paper but with bad results. Today is a good example- a torch day that is failing low in temps, overcast and with a biting wind. If we fail the next three weeks this one will supplant 2012, ugh

    Yes but I am going to request a 7 day extension. I can't logically make a decision with the data currently at hand simply put. We have either a roaring dumpster fire winter or bookend 2006 type deal playing out.

    Partly Sunny! 47F sitting in the sun feels like 60F. If I can't make 50F today it looks like I won't do it for the month of January which is a rare occurrence. In other news NYC is tied with 1875 for least snow at a trace following a mid December SECS/MECS. Imby it's .70"

    EPS members are concentrated north which I did not expect, too much of a stout block if you ask me. This should be fun to follow. * actually they are south for next week

    We have a decent snow window showing itself for the 21st. , though I think people in my neighborhood north are in real fringe danger. My January 15th decision is going to be rough.
