Hurricane Agnes

Mt. Holly confirmed an EF0 in Montgomeryville (I was last up on that area in late September) - I know there were a bunch of TOR warnings down in Delaware but didn't hear whether anything was confirmed there (although I haven't really looked that hard but figured it would have been highlighted in the news.

Finished up with 1.74" of rain. Currently clear and 54.

Getting some moderate rain as a band moves through. Temp is 63 and currently up to 1.64" today so far.

Headed towards Doylestown.

TOR lofted in Central Montco.

My lightning detector has been popping. The line is still sitting west of here. There have been a few TORs down in Delaware too and the little complex is about to head across the Delaware Bay into South Jersey.

Stuff popping all around. Am up to 1.42" of rain since my last reporting of that and currently 64 with a line on my doorstep.

Currently at 1.29" of rain so far with temp at 64 and misty.

I only made it up to 38 yesterday and bottomed out at 25 this morning. Definitely arctic like with the dews in the teens yesterday. Currently recovered to 39 so far this morning and partly sunny with lots of cirrus overhead.

Those look to be La Niña years but weak ones. Have seen progs of moderate to strong LA Niña, so will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Looks like most of it is through and got just over 1/4" (0.26"). The line is still holding and is blasting through Jersey. Temp is down to 54.

Gust front has been coming through. Did see a lightning bolt to my north.

Leading edge of the line is over me. Getting 1/2" hour rates. The stronger band is just behind it.

Temp crept up a bit here to 62.

Ended up with 1.92" for the 3-day event (11/11 - 11/13) and it was interesting to watch the temps on Friday start dropping earlier in the morning than I thought would happen. Looks like there will be an incoming in a few hours, from a line moving at an insane 60 - 70 mph which is out in W. PA at the moment! Wonder if it might end up being classified as a derecho if it survives the whole way over. Currently 60 and overcast.

Ended up getting a combined 3.03" of rain from Zeta and its trailing Low (10/28 - 10/30), and I bottomed out at 31 this morning not long before sunrise. Am currently up to 36 with dp 29. Did catch the full moon early this morning as it was setting and the cars were definitely frosted. Haven't seen "clear" skies in awhile. Had to bring in my citrus for a few days until this passes later next week (want to give them one more hort. oil spray before bringing them in for the season) and turned my furnace on for the first time this fall, yesterday morning.

After a pea soup morning, with a 57 low, and then overcast through mid-day, I finally hit 74 for a high after the sun finally broke through in the early afternoon. It was definitely "sticky" with dews running in the 60s much of the day. Currently foggy/misty and 63.

Had a near-30 degree rebound today maxing out at 65. After starting out with generally clear skies earlier this morning, the day became more and more unsettled as clouds started slowly rolling in. Currently 60 and mostly cloudy.

Ended up with 1.33" rain for the 2-day 10/16 - 10/17 event and only made it up to 58 yesterday after a low of 41. This morning I bottomed out at 37 with a dp of 36, so the potential was there for frost, although I mainly saw condensation and not actual frost crystals (ground may still be too warm for it). Currently 42 and partly cloudy with dp 41, which means still some low-lying condensation around.

After a nice couple of fall days (high 74, low 50 yesterday), it looks like I hit my "high" for this morning at 64 just before 5:30 am before the bottom started falling out and am now down 10 degrees to 54 at post time (about 4 hours later). Currently have light rain and am up to 0.17" so far this morning.
