  1. Just went for a nice long walk over lunch here in Harrisburg and was taken aback by how cool it was. Felt great though. Classic GFS/Euro model war setting up for next week? Sign me up.
  2. Low of 57. Next week looks to bring the real heat, just in time for our annual summer party. Onward.
  3. We've got two and yeah, they certainly do their part haha. Come the dead of summer is when you can really start to see where their favorite spots are ha. One of ours is a digger as well. Trying to keep a nice yard with two dogs and two toddlers is a constant losing battle.
  4. This would be.......not great. Hopefully we get lucky with the convective stuff.
  5. Low of 57 here. No rain over the weekend. I mowed yesterday but that will likely be the last time for a while. My yard is already looking a little rough in spots and if these next two weeks play out as advertised all of our yards will be in the toilet.
  6. This is always the best feeling ha. Low of 66 here with .06" of rainfall. Should be a damn nice stretch of weather upcoming.
  7. Funny you mention, that little shower rolled through here as well and added ~.06" to the gauge. Off to a good start today.
  8. A low of 69 and 1.12" of needed rainfall. Looks like those of us in eastern parts will have a chance for some scattered severe later this afternoon ahead of the frontal passage.
  9. Yeah this last band is adding up quick. Similar total here now. This will go down as a win.
  10. Over half an inch of glorious soaking rain here with some heavy stuff now hitting as well.
  11. All that action I've received has added up to a grand total of .11" over the last 2+ weeks, so not great ha. Let's cross our fingers and see what the next day or two bring.
  12. Saw that. Could sure use more H2O than that around here. And yes, yes they can. Very hard to predict where those bands of rotating showers will setup.
  13. Low of 64 with .01" of rainfall. MDT ends the month with a mean temp of 66.2 (T-12th all-time) and almost dead-on average precip at 3.82". National high of 112 at Rio Grande Village, TX and low of 24 at Angel Fire, NM. Looks like an Upper Level Low may dominate our pattern starting this upcoming weekend. Could be fun. Onward.
  14. MJS officially checking in for summer from beautiful west hempfield township. May our storms be bountiful, our beers stay cold, and our campfires burn hot. Cheers everyone!
  15. Wow, that is impressive. And then there were our friends in Mackay, ID, who bottomed out at 15.
  16. Just saw this. On a par three no less. She might have shot herself out of the tournament already. Damn.
  17. I'm going to end May with 2.76" but only about .1" over the final two weeks. I haven't mowed for 8 days but definitely need to do so. Hopefully have time either today or tomorrow.
  18. Low of 53 and .06" of rain. Not gonna cut it with nothin' but blue skies ahead. The cool nights and heavy dew should help though. Beautiful weather on tap, just exquisite. All windows open.
  19. 54 when I left the house. No rain, could sure use something today. Splendid week ahead.
  20. My crystal ball says we end the month with a mean temp right about where it is now, at 66.3 degrees -- good for 12th place all-time. Book it.
