  1. 3k smooths things out a bit. Feel like a rough consensus is emerging.
  2. Yeah the NAM is having trouble filling in the precipitation shield for whatever reason but it's a WAY better run overall. Certainly joining the party, likely even more so at 0z.
  3. Sure does. At least to these eyes, at 12z Sunday it looks like we're in for something more substantial and inland.
  4. I've just seen too many times when the HRRR is out of whack at this point but then comes into the fold once you get inside of 24 hours. Don't get me wrong, every once in a great while it can sniff something out but for the most part it's just not at all in its wheelhouse at this range.
  5. Latest map by CTP shows a slight expansion northwestward of the 4" line.....
  6. Now the moment you've all been waiting for......my .7" of snow yesterday melted down to .07" liquid. #BreakingNews
  7. Very early. I think we'll see snow overspread the area by like 10-11am. Otherwise extend your trip a day or two haha.
  8. Jump aboard Mike! We've got room on the train! What could go wrong?
  9. Was just about to post that. Looks very similar to its higher res cousin, as it should. Not worried at all about that southern edge. Love it.
  10. I'm getting giddy and am about to officially enter "text friends and family" mode haha. Going down with the ship at this point. I'm all in.
  11. Man she's gorgeous, might be a Lancaster bullseye. Kuch map gonna look great.
  12. I'm definitively favoring a blended approach and I almost shudder to say this, but I think Lancaster is going to be in a perfect spot to maximize the potential of this event. Apologies to the Lancaster crew for giving us a death sentence ha.
  13. Rgem is really tucked in tight to the MD/PA border with the SLP but she's still gonna be a 'beaut.
  14. The FV3 -- a model I don't care for -- adds to the winners pile.
  15. I think it's getting pretty close. As mentioned above, the 3k frames are much more in line with other guidance. But yes, it's had a rough go ha.
  16. The NAM is slowly starting to pick up on the overall evolution. I would wager by 0z tonight it falls in line, or close to it.
  17. Agreed. It's slooooowly coming around. Yeah I think we can expect some ticks upward if the guidance keeps coming in robust over the next 12 hours.
  18. Because why not.......national high of 78 at Tolleson, AZ and low of -20 at Gunnison, CO.
