  1. 2.87" total as of 8:15 am today, probably tack on another 1-2 inches at our current rate.
  2. 1.10" for the day here, thankfully we live on a hill, in the valley. Plus the sandy soil allows for excellent drainage. No basement worries here, at least for now. Hate to waste the precip jack during the warm season....
  3. 7-10 split here so far....congrats to those to our south, they have been parched
  4. A whopping 0.13" since yesterday....dried out nicely, might end up with a nice day. Great practice for this winter, GFS and UKMET out to lunch so far down here. Only the first quarter, so we have plenty of time to catch up. 12z HRRR develops some storms later on, definitely flooding potential if that occurs as shown.
  5. Raining nicely with rumbles of thunder, 0.10" so far.....See if we can pull of 1-3 inches over the next couple of days. Muggy too 78/72
  6. Would love to see this in January, with a nice crisp/cold airmass out ahead of it of course....
  7. Looking to take 4 kids(ages 1 year to 11 years old) somewhere the last week of September. Leaning towards Acadia or Cape Cod. Thoughts? Recommendations? Thanks!
  8. Its beginning to feel a lot like Autumn....... Already down to 62°
  9. 0.22" here...Must look like a jungle on the other side of town
  10. We had a yellow jacket nest in between our wood siding and our bathroom wall. They were beginning to get into the house 2 weeks ago. Had our pest guy out, he used an aerosol first, then dusted the entrances. The dust works similar to Diatomaceous earth with a side of pesticide residue. Haven't seen a yellow jacket since, but it did take 2 applications. The nest was huge....
  11. Was not expecting that last night...only got 0.44" here, but not far from here had 1-3 inches.
  12. Random heavy rainfall caught me by surprise, where did this come from?
  13. Lol....rainfall jackpots are important in droughts
  14. Nice thundershower here.....you are an inch ahead of me this week, hope to make up some ground here
  15. My oldest is 11, can't imagine the emotions you will be dealing with today. Best of luck to you and all those parents going through this over the next few weeks. 3k looks great here, hopefully it is onto something, for once....we only picked up 0.37" this week, while just miles to my east had 3-5 inches.
  16. Drove through that storm, impressive cloud to ground lightning. Rainfall was quite intense too Only 0.18" here, but it looks like it is redeveloping to my west. Looks like you may have some firing near you as well
  17. Yup, comical is a great way to describe it....
  18. Snagged 0.03" from a random shower last night....based on radar trends, I assume not much today here in SW CT.
  19. A whopping 0.00" here....every time it looks like something is headed this way, the radar dries up leaving some drizzle that doesn't even wet the pavement.
  20. Forcefield on full power today, a whopping 0.02" with that line that went through.....
