  1. Picked up 0.5” in 15 minutes here before, 0.54” in total for this morning. Meanwhile places south of Sunrise Highway got barely a drop
  2. Really steamy out today, 84/76/93 for the high so far
  3. Back to nasty dewpoints here, currently 77/74
  4. 93/66 currently, 4th 90 of the year and the hottest it’s gotten so far this year for me

  7. Picked up about 0.45” of rain from the showers today, which at least is double of what i had previously over the last couple of weeks. Let’s see if I can get close to an inch through the morning hours

  11. High of ~91 here, currently 86/74/94, temp dropped when the marine layer moved in at around 2pm, before then it was fluctuating between 89-91

  13. Picked up a measly 0.02” this afternoon, it doesn’t seem like the storms are going to make their way east of the city based on current radar but I guess we’ll see
  14. Picked up only 0.09” of rain through yesterday and this morning, let’s see what today brings
  15. I believe summer 2019 was a good recent storm season for the island, but nearly every year surrounding that has been mediocre

  17. 80/74/85 here on the south shore, clouds have kept the temperature down a bit in the last half hour or so
  18. Picked up 0.23” from that cell that moved through, 0.65” since Sunday night here, 3.55” on the month

  20. About 0.42” of rain here since Sunday night, so I’m up to 3.32 for the month. Max high for this month is only 82 and it doesn’t seem too likely that I’ll get much above that to close out the month
  21. This is probably the first time this year that it’s actually felt uncomfortable with regards to the moisture. At least its 69/67 and not 89/67 because we don’t have air conditioning at the moment
  22. Lightning must have hit the tracks near Straight Path and Wellwood in Lindenhurst because the barriers got stuck down at both crossings
  23. The air still has a bitter taste here, a lot of surface smoke/haze still remains from yesterday
