Mistake. That 7.33" was from a spot near McNair based on this below. McNair township is up Hwy #2 around the Langley River RD area a few miles east of Brimson.

Temps hovered in the low-mid 60's yesterday with the cloud cover. Picked up 2-2.5" of rain around TH yesterday. Scattered showers with temps in the low-mid 70's today. Nice to see the Sun. Cloudy days in summer is a negative considering we see so many of them during the colder months. More rain for the end of the week.

NWS DLH reporting 2-4" over NE MN, with isolated spots seeing a bit more (5-6"). River gauges at the Cloquet River in Brimson, the Knife River in Knife River, and the Baptism River near Beaver Bay saw a 5-6' jump in river levels last night. Here in the TH area looks like 2-2.5" fell. More rain on tap starting Thurs into Sat night, although current forecast is keeping the heaviest rains just to my S.

Missed out on yesterdays rain, but have a chance at some later today. Peaked into the low 70's as the sun peeked out some during mid aftrn. Looking to be in the mid-upper 70's later today, and hopefully a rumble of thunder or two. Shwrs/stms currently off to my W moving SW to NE.

Cloudy am with temps around 60 at 9:30 am. Rain staying just S/E of me. Stms popping later with a high around 70 this aftrn. Will be interesting to see who gets what in the next couple days.

Picked up 0.26" from the edge of that rain complex yesterday. 2.50" for the month (4.23" June avg). Ground is moist, so we'll shall see what the next couple days bring. Good chance will meet the monthly avg by the middle of the week, if not much more.

Foggy, and wet early am, now just overcast n cool around 60 just after 11am. Hope the sun comes out for at least a little bit later.

Father's day cast is partly correct. Slow on bringing HP through as it will be leaving the sub starting today. But for the rest of it, pretty decent.

Yeah, did here, too, as I posted in the other thread. Lake air still got a chill yet.

I can see why the temps are like that with the setup it's got. Clouds n rain with a long fetch wind off the Lake from HP NE of the Lake. Lake air is chilly in the midst of Lake Superior during June into July.

Lake breeze kicked in a little more, and dropped temps into the mid 60's. Even well inland.

Currently low-mid 70's with a light Lake breeze at 11 am. Upper 50's for dews. Very nice mid morning. Catching some rays out on the deck. Had been looking at my own modelling method a bit more closely, and this pattern coming up will be around a bit more frequently for the next month or so. Get ready for lots of hot days in the S sub, and frequent rains for the W & N sub. Flooding could be a big threat during the 1st half of July up this way. Derechos not out of the question for the sub.

Had some scattered showers this afternoon, but we did reach the low 80's here. Dews around 50, so very pleasant.

Going to be a nice day with breezy W winds, and temps around 80. Tornado warned cells yesterday have no reports of funnel/tornado activity on the stm report map. Some wind damage reports though.

Stms my way got "Pac-Man'd" by the Lake. Stms coming in drew in cold lake air. Temps around 60 now.

SW of Duluth has a nasty warned cell. Good tornado sig there. Same with the one in the lower left near Brainerd.

Current hail reports running 1-2" so far.

BWCA has a strong cell that's Tornado warned. Bad place to get caught in that. Lots of campers right now in that area. Radar dbz 70+ with the core of the cell, and a hook sig off the SW edge.
