  1. Also, age old theme to gripe about here, but why would NWS not put out some type of advisory, whether WWA or Storm Watch. They're calling for 6-8" right now, but the possibility isn't a lot of snow or little snow, it's a lot of snow, or snow and ice. Either one should get an advisory. I'm sure we'll have one but it'll probably go up tomorrow afternoon, smh.
  2. 0z Euro looked really good for Thursday, all snow. And the 6z Euro looked great for Monday-Tuesday. We’re just north of the ice line. Improvement there.
  3. First call for the NWS is 6-8". Gradient is 3" in Uniontown to 8" in Mercer. NAM still looks good.
  4. So sounds like they are thinking far less snow. If they think that they should update the actual forecast they put out.
  5. I don’t understand our NWS. Their point and click from Mon.-Tues. is all snow, their Hazardous Weather Outlook, say mixed precip, with a chance of accumulating snow. I understand being conservative, but geez, at least get on the same page or close to it. On the other side TWC is bullish on this being all snow.
  6. I love this map, but I really hate being in the bullseye right now. That's the scary part. If this was Sunday, I'd feel good.
  7. https://www.accuweather.com/en/winter-weather/relentless-wintry-weather-to-bombard-much-of-us-into-next-week/898575 Looks like Accuweather is leaning toward more snow.
  8. Interesting tidbit. Everyday except the 3rd this month as had at least a trace of snow. and 26 of the last 29 days have had at least a trace of snow. Great pattern. Also, this...from NWS.
  9. Depends on where you are. Basically southern Allegheny Co. on North is all snow.
  10. Yes, 12z GFS holds on, well see what the Euro cooks up. Does it correct to the GFS, or stay where it is?
  11. Over in the Central forum they are talking about riding the line. I imagine that has to help us to some degree, and not in every case, but if we get a low tracking east of us we're in a better spot. If it is an west to east track, then we have more things to worry about. All of this is fwiw.
  12. Well, yes, lol. I'd definitely want that record, but wouldn't be upset if that was it too.
  13. If we get two back to back that big it could be 75 the rest of winter.
  14. Good look at day 4 from the NWS. Also, every day from day 4-7 has at least a chance of .25" of liquid snow.
  15. Beautiful look on the NAM of course...hr. 84. Rooting for the Weather Channel to win out they have Monday with 6-11" of snow. Mostly overnight, and an additional inch on Tuesday.
  16. Only after it flirted with the idea too, it had a couple -17 and -18 degree runs as well, lol.
