    Will be interesting to see if February is also below normal like what's forecast. Can we have Dec., Jan. and Feb. all below normal temps and above normal snow? When was the last time that happened?

    Looks like at least tied the record today possibly broke it with potentially -6 this morning.

    We have a real shot at getting one of the longest stretches with below freezing temperatures. 6 days so far, but if we believe the weather channel right now the entire extended forecast stays below freezing ending the forecast at 20 days, that would put us top 5. Need 16 to crack the list.

    Do we think we're getting below 0 tonight? Seems too cloudy to me, at least right now.

    If the Accuweather forecast is to pan out, it’d be six straight nights below zero. One of the longest streaks.

    We could all use an extra half an inch.

    Really nice to have a storm that didn't flood the area with warm air and turn us to straight rain. That was a huge win. Thank God for that deep arctic air.

    It really doesn't. I have always wondered if they under did their measurements, simply because everywhere else in the county always seems to be more.

    Some heavy returns moving in soon, it looks like.

    Well, 3-5" more gets us to 13-15". Not bad.

    Could ratios be better on the back end too? Wouldn't the upper air be colder after the low transfers?

    Yeah, and we'll likely get get to over a foot.

    I mean, except for that dry slot in Ohio, there's heavy returns still back in Indiana. But I guess the transfer is happening.

    Looks like there's still snow back to St. Louis, so I wouldn't think so.

    Why though? I mean officially it's 8.4" and we still have quite a few hours to go.

    I assume we'll reach a foot with this.

    Officially 8.4" as of 1:09pm. Thought it'd be more. Said the liquid equivalent is .7", so 12:1 ratios, definitely not the 15:1 plus sometimes thrown around.

    As long as it stays down there and south of Allegheny County, I'm good.

    Looks like 7 inches was recorded at 11 am. That's another 1.7 inches in 1.5 hours.

    Am I seeing it wrong or are the returns pretty light back into Zanesville?
