  1. Starting to lay. I assume the temps will drop a bit as rates pick up. Lots of green and some yellow returns on the radar. mix seems to be staying put for now. Edit: the 5 minute obs show KPIT already dropped 2 degrees, and AGC is already down to 32.
  2. Nicer rates at the moment. Hopefully, that mix line is held at bay. ChalkHill, hopefully the line sags or shifts away for you.
  3. Snow just starting to fall in the southern part of the City. Just a curiosity, it seems during snows, like this one especially we are always battling too dry air at the start, but snow fills in all around us, like this morning with the storm. Is there some reason for that, or is it just preception. I mean for a surrounded by water, I'd think the air would be more moist to start.
  4. Yeah it does make it ok. It’s a joke. Tim is bringing nothing to the discussion and keeps bitching, so I’ll continue as well.
  5. I bet you have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell me too.
  6. You don’t mean that. You’ll be off the handles again in no time.
  7. So, the 3k NAM was pretty good, are you still on the edge?
  8. There’s no reasoning with him. Let him meltdown, like a toddler. He’ll tire himself out and fall asleep, lol.
  9. Honestly, you need to step away for a while. You’re going to have a heart attack over snow. Either that or you’re a world class troll, because no one should be this worked up over this.
  10. Yet the HRRR still puts down 3.7”. Just wait and see, and if it doesn't produce then you shouldn’t be surprised.
  11. That's how they are. Wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with 3" and no advisory. Vice versa they'll keep an advisory for far too long after they've busted low.
  12. They’re up from .1” to 1.5”, so that’s something I guess.
  13. Potential westward shift in snow amounts and minor impacts from this weekend's system are trending further west with the latest model guidance. We'll continue to evaluate through the day today. From KPIT, about as good as you’ll get from them.
  14. That improved big for me. I definitely don’t see that though.
  15. To be clear, I’m not writing off the year, I’m just not going to care.
  16. This one’s dead I guess. I don’t think I’m even going to get invested in anymore this year. Whatever happens happens. I can’t worry about these types of things. I’ll check in, but that’s it. It’ll snow again one day, who knows when though.
  17. FWIW, Bernie Rayno is leaning more towards Euro and CMC solution. That’s our best hope. I guess it’s better to have the Euro on our side?
  18. This does suck. Unfortunately, when I saw the bad run yesterday afternoon, it was the death knell. Once that shows up there usually is little hope or chance left. The bright side is we can only go up for this storm if that happens. It just seems every time these storms start getting noticed by the news and websites they up and die off. Frustrating, but nothing we can do. On to the next.
  19. Maybe more north from this recent bad, southern runs, lol. That might get us 6+.
  20. I heard he was saying we were in the possible zone for over 6”, however that was before the most recent runs. Maybe, this is as bad as the models look for us and we have positive corrections from here. That’s all we can do is hope.
  21. That’s okay. I appreciate the response. Just looking for a glimmer of hope out of that awful run, lol. Still, it was just one run. I’m looking for just a few inches, hopefully that’s still on the table.
  22. Yeah, GFS ensemble. I meant hopefully future runs are better, not more from the 18z.
