  1. I take it the HRRR is handling this well so far? SREF plumes have moved up again. They dropped to around 5” and moved back to 6”.
  2. NWS is tightening the range. Went from high to low of 1-11" to 2-7".
  3. WWA for 2-4”. But the NWS is officially 3-7” with a point total of 5.1”, so…
  4. Which model is that? Names's cut off. Either way NAM is a decent storm and HRRR is really great. At least the good look at the start is still on the HRRR at hour 34. Still a chance a decent one.
  5. NWS has upped Pittsburgh expected to 4” and the range from 3-8”.
  6. I think I'd rather have the short term models on our side at this point, than the globals. But we'll see if they hold.
  7. The 12z HRRR doesn't look too bad from hours 40-48, it put down 4-5" over those 8 hours, and there's still more it's showing. I know it's at the edge of it usefulness at that point, but if it hangs on it could be decent. NAM 12z isn't terrible, but the precip shield falls apart completely by hour 50. Kuchera is around 5".
  8. Yeah, this is unfortunate. Somehow we always get screwed, whether north or south.
  9. The last frames of the HRRR look like they could incredible as long as it moves into our area.
  10. It was about 2.5” officially at KPIT. Pretty good day today. Let’s cross our fingers for good trends this weekend.
  11. Good news is NWS upped the limit through 7 am Monday from 8” to 9”.
  12. NWS has the first call through 7am Monday with 5” in Pittsburgh. High end is 8”. Not sure that 7am captures the full storm though.
  13. Also, it seems that solutions a few days out end up verifying more so that the days immediately preceding the event.
  14. Honestly, if we hit 4” with Sunday-Monday, that’s a win for me. We’ve been severely lacking in that size storm lately. Anything more will be bonus.
  15. I wouldn’t say it’s over, yet. Still a couple days to sort it out.
  16. Isn’t GFS always the most amped and Euro the most muted usually? We might be in a pretty decent spot if that’s the case.
  17. That's great. Usually trends at this stage, don't go our way. Hopefully, that also holds true for Monday.
  18. Wow, in the 2-4” range for tomorrow now. That’s unexpected.
  19. Still looks good to me. I'd take that in a heartbeat.
