    Yeah, the City has been an absolute disaster this winter. Since the 1st I've seen one salt truck and I live on a major artery. I'm not sure I'll get to work tomorrow, at least not in the morning. This is unacceptable.

    Oh, not counting anything out, just not sure what we actually have in store for the weekend. Seeing warmer temps, but no snow on the point and clicks and then writes seem to be talking about snow, with no real mention of the brief warm up. Just confused is all. If the Euro is to be believed, could be interesting times ahead.

    I feel we’ll lose a good bit of the snow pack Saturday, and if we can’t build any back Saturday night into Sunday, the extreme cold forecast will be a bit more moderate.

    I guess since the warm month streak is likely over, we don't need to know, lol. All in good fun.

    That's looking better than the game so far. I think it’s high time for a coaching change. This one and done in the playoffs is really old.

    This was alright I guess. A nice freshening up for sure. CPC seems to think the back half of the month should be cold and wetter than normal. Late January might be our time for a better storm. Maybe the 18th-20th we need to look at. I also wonder if this could be one of those rare Januarys that fails to reach 50 degrees. It's early, but the extended looks to stay cold.

    The fog looks like it’s giving the trees a little glaze out there. Don’t recall seeing fog at this cold a temperature before.

    Yeah, that's all time stuff we're flirting with. I think that's the coldest model run I've ever seen for here. At least we know that it's very unlikely to happen, lol.

    We are almost at last years seasonal total already, so we’re definitely doing better.

    Looks like a whopping 1” today officially. Super let down, lol.

    We’re lucky it’s cold and that some random things can pop up in the short term, cause there doesn’t seem to be anything of note in the long range for us. But the snow will at least stick around for a while. More than we can say for the last few winters.

    Ummm. Literally not, but you can see the radar. Chill. We kind knew this was possible. It looks to be more of the 2-4” instead of the potential for a bigger storm. That’s all I meant. Damn, lol.

    Shame about it too is it looks like the precip shield came quite a bit further north too. But that dry slots coming. Sucks, we would have had some heavy stuff probably. Welp, we always get screwed like this, so no big surprise really.

    Radar looks kind of bad. Pretty dry look overall.

    Looks like the snow is at the Mason-Dixon Line. Is it early?

    But, was that when the GFS was spitting out big totals for us?

    I said early on 4” would be a victory for this one. Might get there.

    I think that's what I saw it at earlier. Hopefully the HRRR verifys with the farther north precip shield.

    I take it the HRRR is handling this well so far? SREF plumes have moved up again. They dropped to around 5” and moved back to 6”.

    NWS is tightening the range. Went from high to low of 1-11" to 2-7".

    That’s good news. Hopefully, it holds.

    Not as good, but still a win, in my opinion.

    WWA for 2-4”. But the NWS is officially 3-7” with a point total of 5.1”, so…
