  1. We're probably in a decent spot at this point. We know that doesn't always mean anything, but storms like this do seem to tick north as they come in.
  2. To be fair the GFS was getting laughed at for showing us getting 6 feet, not 6 inches, lol.
  3. Even with a warm tongue potential. That would be coming after some seriously cold weather, correct. It's hard to scour out cold air, I thought anyway. Maybe it hangs on a bit longer before warm air over runs it.
  4. That GFS run last night is likely the biggest, wildest run we will ever see for this area.
  5. Looks like end of week to early next week might be interesting.
  6. I guess 4" in one day is still possible, lol! And in December no less. Just kidding.
  7. This is nice that this seems to be one of the rare systems that trends better and better toward the start. Let's hope we hit those trends.
  8. For tomorrow? Are we actually getting something? I thought it was heading into Virginia.
  9. Numbers from the NWS for through 7pm Tuesday is for 3" and high end is for 5".
  10. Looks like they're bringing the cold back in after the 1st. maybe some chances there?
  11. Well, we gotta at least have the chance first, and so far step 1 is accomplished. We'll see from there.
  12. First of the season. High end is 3", lol. Who's ready for a season of heartbreak?
  13. Why would Allegheny County get another frost advisory? It went down to 33 earlier this month, isn't that frost levels?
  14. Especially because it took a minute to settle in too. Memorial Day weekend was freezing. It was a short, hot, humid summer.
  15. That is interesting. Those cool streaks don't seem as common lately, so that's pretty cool. I believe August ended cooler than normal too, due to the cool conditions.
  16. Make it 6. Went down to 50 this morning. Maybe 7, 50 is the forecast for tonight again, but I guess that stops the August streak, since it'll be September tomorrow.
