    the multi attempts has nothing to do with it, as usual, even after the original was posted, this thread got about two pages of obs posts, and will for the rest of the night, whether or not there is an obs thread. just like every storm. there is no point having two threads. if you are in the strange minority of being super interested in a storm but not wanting to read real time discussion about it while getting obs, and only want obs posts... tough. the rest of us dont want to flip between tabs

    No matter what the outcome I can't remember a storm lurking on these boards that had such a short anticipation time and no "oh here we go" bad runs/trends rollercoaster. its just been.. out of no where Bomb and then a chorus of models crescendoing (is that a word?) every run . stress free

    I would be shocked if one of our snow storms DIDN'T start earlier than modeled. Never understood why, but it seems the norm.

    I don't love for Long Island going from 24hrs ago the callouts about the impressive cold air and cheering any tick north to the freeze line right at the typical south shore spot with this much time left

    I'm a long time observer but its routinely annoying how the NAM gets constantly trashed when it doesn't show what we want but if it's spewing a MECS it is reposted and analyzed constantly. "it's the nam!"

    what is the morning commute going to look like ? is this going to trick people to go in and then get stuck or will it already be cranking by then you think?

    Seems like we were all rooting for the precip to come in as early as possible to beat the negative aspects (dry slot/ warming) but those followed just as quickly
