Myrtle Beach looks decent.

Haven't had strong winds out of the south for a while. By strong I mean 55-60 mph 3 seconds. My front door faces south and has a weather stripping under the bottom that sings loud like someone playing a kazoo very badly. It's quite hilarious. I was getting excited Sun night when it was getting close to 40 but no cigar.

Yes for us MOD is rare. I do remember back in 1998 we got clobbered with baseball sized stones. We were in the hatched area but didn't get the damaging winds they got to the north and west. But those hailstones are damaging enough. Marbles with the occasional golf ball mixed in is OK. Once they get tennis ball sized it's not fun any more.
