this storm is the reason why many dont buy forecasts just saying

show of hands who dont buy the models and feel its going to be a now casting event???

ok been  following winter storms for a good while this is the most crazy one I have been watching. starts out out to sea in the south east. the talk the cold air suppresses it no chance to come north at all no need to worry. to the very next day comes thousand miles or so west and comes more north to the point it may hit us. to now coming so far went you get mid 30s and 40s into or close to our area????? I mean I feel like this is just gonna be a now casting event. i joked early on its gonna be a apps runner and wow for a few runs it was. Is it that the upper air is just to complex now? I could see this thing missing us honestly with the way things are going.

they are bad at updating maps any time a storm comes or even updating the video forecast on the site.

storm is so strong before it was way south out to sea cause cold air surpassed it then it comes thousands of miles north and west and keeps wanting to keep ticking west per models.

models just suck lol oh boy

wouldnt this be considered blizzard conditions ? heavy snow rates and those winds? or do we need temps in the teens?

models are on crack and drinking . start of the weak way south and out to sea a day later way north just off the coast. half a day later way west running up the apps. Watch tomorrow they are back out to sea and they will say operational errors lol.

Kind of off topic just a tad but where did this mini warm up today and tomorrow come from? mon it showed straight low 30s then tuesday out of nowhere mid 40s? for me today forecast was 44 never got that 32 but tomorrow 45

well looks like temps are warmer then they thought they would be as normal over night. Forecast low was mid to upper teens only got to 23. I dont need ice today id rather have nothing happen and it be in the mid 30s whats also crazy I have one weather site reporting im 30 one saying im 26 another saying 28 lol.

if they are dumb enough to do that people will just move to the west shore and not travel back and fourth.

I got maybe a inch from the time i got home at 7 or so till now. nothing atm and earlier radar didnt show it but i had ice and snow for several hours.

well last time i heard about monday was around noon driving into work local radio said mostly cloudy high in the 40s

yep I left work early and it was a hairy drive. tho nothing on radar frz mist or drizzle is coating every thing if the roads being some what snow covered and icing over wasnt bad enough adding frz mist water to it.

I saw earlier today that temps in the area will be in the low to mid 40s maybe touching 50 a few times next week unless it changed. 

So work was just not worth going in tonight hardly any one showed up tho my area wasnt bad at all. Main reason myself and so many are leaving early is cause of freezing mist drizzle icing everything up bad. Since I was asleep through the whole storm and at work till now. What made the storm go from a 24 hour or so event down to 6 hours in central PA? I mean up till late model runs last night into this morning they were hinting it lasting into a good part of fri morning. Infact the wsw was pushed back till 10 am I wake up to it canceled and under a wwa. That in its self was odd to watch the 5am news and they were saying it would cut off around noon or 1pm what models made them pick up on that since late night models were trending more snow?

Just saw how bad its busting in my area over by 2pm? lol wtf how and when did this go down? as i stated before models stuck any more.

Lol oh btw he is low balling it now only 3 inchs but if we get some snow showers maybe 5.5 or so? i never knew just normal snow showers to lay that much down.
