Sure hope so. I dont even need big....just frequent bouts of white. I'm not picky.
When we left the cabin this AM, it was -4. If they get what they are supposed to w/ any other events looming, it wont be going anywhere soon.
it be nice to get 4-6 with a bit of snow on the back end as the storm pulled away

This is rapidly falling apart out our way. PIT just drastically cut totals, introduced mixing issues into the forecast, and latest short range models are showing major boundary layer issues.
all the way in Pit wow crazy

Boy I hope that verifies for you.
mom just hoping to see some survive this convoluted mess of a storm.I could see we get dry slotted and no precip and never see rain. then a hard freeze tomorrow night with a low of 25 in my area.
-
ticked up to 23 with snow finally. odd that it didnt go down after all the cooling going on with precip falling.

Not seeing much meso model support for the high LWX accums to our south. Nowcasting vs. models!
what i was trying to say in the other day cause well I consider lower PA mid Atlantic and was just talking saying its going to be a now casting vs model trends and they all about cut my head off. they were like these models %100 I was like no model is ever %100 some one always bust high some one always busts low.

16/11. Yeah. Rather crazy. It doesn’t feel like a mix storm approaching.
22 still in my back yard mdt reporting 21 and snow but it isnt snowing yet its just reporting the radar as a observation when they started doing this pissed me off

I really hate observation points when they are just automatic report what the radar says. It says steady snow atm but nothing why? cause a human didnt confirm it. Just cause the radar shows doesnt mean its falling.
-
then again after remember middletown and hia for some reason often give different temp as well snow and rain totals for the day. but yet they take readings from the same area.

Geez, I'm up to 25 with no sign of the temp leveling off. Going to be a huge difference in weather between Lanco and areas N&W.
really im right near Middletown obs at airport says 21 and im sitting at 20.

HRRR was way too high at the surface out here. Seems to be more correct further east in PA.
nice as hoping it was a bit off with temps even if we can shave 5 off the top for today ill be near frz still
-
Dunno how accurate the hourly temps are but at 3pm in 30 mins they claim ill be 27 its 20 atm and most likely staying near this or drop a bit with precip overhead in a bit.

Dropped from 21 to 17 now as the temps and DP meet and the virga should soon be seen through my window :-)
how long did it take a hour or 2?

Mt Joy gave a good wet bulb temp earlier. I am hoping for 1-2 degree drop. Its only 22 here still. Holding pretty good.
damn I never understood how sometimes with a very low dp precip starts almost right away other times its hours and hours of Virga
-
any chance with dewpoints so low we can get a bit of cooling or at least hold serve with temps?
-
we often see some over running precip as storms come up but so far not seeing any break out sadly.

Trying to figure this out, not that it's super important, but I'm just wondering why the discrepancy...
Here is the forecast for overnight for Nesquehoning, five miles away from me, in Carbon County. They have a winter storm warning...
they always be messing this up they once had me for a wsw for 4 inchs the last few years but not when we had a 7 inch snow so go figure.
