It is 37 at MDT and 39 at Capital City AND Indiantown Gap (way north) but only 36 at Thomasville. The Dp at Indiantown is 14 while it is 20 at Capital City. That is a big difference.
No what I'm saying my dad lives right near Middletown airport when I checked in on him today digital said 34.8 old school thermometer was 35 how can it be 37 when the airport is in his back yard

down to 20 forecast low was 24 so take that for what you will. but we all know that magic cloud cover will come in and just bump up the temps 8 degrees out of no where before sun rise lol

Highs in mud to upper 30s lows in teens low 20s for this time of year is cold. Let's hope it trends colder

The blocking is why the system is "stopping" in the midwest and reforming south of us. The reason we are not getting a MAJOR snowstorm despite a system going south of us is the lack of cold air around right now. No room for error. So, in short, the blocking is "working" but the air is moderate at best.
Fair but all I hear is cold air I'd in place from local news I'm surprised it's going up the coast is what I mean

Someone explain to me with blocking as strong as it is up north that hasn't changed how is the system going More Northwest or north of the coast
-
MDT station has been way off for like 8 years at least they no longer have real time observations and they always say the high is like 3-5 off the high vs what the high really was. when I lived closer like 2 blocks over they would be like its 94 when it was like 89 or 37 when it was 32

my 10pm news is model hugging some model thats pushing rain all the way north into upstate ny state into canada? but yet still seeing strong blocking?

There was never to be much of anything during the daylight hours. In fact, as recent as yesterday, some forecasts for today included sunshine. If anything, today has "overperformed"
That may be true but I could have sworn that a lot of the forecasters for local weather we're saying that it was supposed to start at 7:00 or 8:00 p.m. that was with the last 2 days that I saw. So if the raider looks this dry are we still in time frame for seven or eight or is it going to be like 11:00 or midnight

Is it me or does the radar look a bit laughable meaning very lackluster spotty precip

Something to mention driving towards York back to Harrisburg skies went from mostly cloudy to clear as sun is setting almost clear skies. Odd since thought we would be socked in with clouds skies clear for about 10 miles maybe that will drop us down lower then 29 forecast low
