  3. First strong cell of the day north of Winchester. Intense lightning on the lightning map.
  4. I will be more than obliged to steal your severe.
  5. Different story here in Goldsboro. Near full sun and a cumulus cloud or two is starting to show up. Perfect conditions for destabilization. Winds light and variable
  6. 12k NAM is discrete cell galore. The HRRR has slightly more linear storms and CAPE isn't too bad although I'd prefer higher CAPE
  7. Tomorrow will make up for tonight's underperformer. Some lightning strikes so far but the heaviest is south.
  8. I need everybody in D.C and the Delmarva to buy an industrial fan and strap it to a helicopter, and turn them all on at once so we can get a D2 MOD.
  9. Sweet tower to my north, has 2 inch hail Sent from my laptop using a keyboard
  10. 2.75'' hail in that storm in NE MD per radarscope
  11. Nailed it HDRPS is a weenie run for later this afternoon and evening with multiple rounds possible overnight
  12. Wouldn't be surprised if they didn't upgrade the whole region to a SLGT, low level lapse rates are getting pretty decent and better ML lapse rates are moving in from the west. Sufficient shear for more organized clusters as well.
  13. Looks like there may be a bow line segment hooking gradually southeast with the classic backbuilding over my area. Then rounds of storms more widespread in coverage throughout the overnight hours with a better chance for severe weather tomorrow, as the SPC highlighted a SLGT risk over much of the region.
  14. That strong ridge over top... yikes. That's gonna drive that storm straight into New England. 384 hours out but still, like @SnoSki14 said, I'm a little more worried than usual for an EC impact
  15. Storms firing in SE PA are going to better organize and I'll likely get something this evening
