  1. Massive wildfires in Siberia have been raging unchecked for weeks. Majority of the Sakha republic is covered by thick smoke.
  2. No way we get a third tropical cyclone to impact the area. It's just not possible, right? I am saving this post for review once October comes around.

  8. Mt. Holly highlights the potential for flash flooding from training thunderstorms tonight/overnight. Deep layer shear around 25-30 knts which isn't that bad. Lapse rates are poor though. Plenty of instability

  11. At least we're not in the middle east where the dews are in the mid-upper 80s in some spots with temps still in the low to mid 90s. Dangerously hot to live there and it's only gonna get worse with AGW.
