I could see a potential worst case scenario where a HECS forms but it's too far north and we get rain while we watch philly get crushed

What a joke this little event is. 925s and 850s below freezing on mesoanalysis, and we get rain? It must be snowing just a few hundred feet up.. looks like it too. The sky is a uniform grey with almost no texture

@CAPE That mid-Feb 2015 snow event was a true arctic airmass with temps in the teens with about a half foot of snow accumulations here. ETA: A couple days after featured highs in the high teens with lows close to zero IIRC
