  1. Duh it's only out to 144. The back edge is just barely coming into view just then.
  2. The 06z EPS is definitely more amped and further north. I'm south of the 0c 850s at 144. Not a fan of that
  3. Mostly a rain/snow mix. Mesos greatly overestimated accumulations. I saw my first flakes.
  4. As of now, four major meso models show at least a snow shower lasting for about an hour tomorrow morning. HRRR is the most weak sauce of them all, while the RGEM is the strongest. Stronger than its 18z run. The NAM 3km show a band just to my north with a quick inch near Smyrna. Temps will likely be in the upper 30s by the time the snow starts (if the band even verifies). They will fall a few degrees. No stickage on roads, just on the grass.
  5. Just under a half inch lollie at my house. All models show at least a brief snow shower or two but there'll probably be no stickage IMBY.
  6. Second storm looks like it'll be a banger for somebody on the 12z euro.
  7. The ICON is a miss to the north. But it's the ICON. It's no icon that's for sure.
  8. That -NAO is really persistent.. I might see a Wendigo in the woods near my house before the NAO turns positive
  9. God just won't stop farting out pacific air across the United States. Big giant deuce of a winter
  10. And so the kickoff between the tampa bay patriots and the old orleans saints commences.
  11. Yes. Feb 1979 to name one. I can't really think of another snowstorm recently that gave us 1-2 feet or more with temps in the teens. Next probably won't be for another 20 years
  12. There's 70 degree ocean temps just 200 miles to our east. At almost our latitude.
  13. Both the EPS and the GEFS are trending towards less -EPO in the LR. It could just as easily reverse but...
  14. We get screwed on the 00z GFS. The low is farther north.
