  1. I think it’s more likely that this wave/SLP fails to materialize than trending 300 miles NW
  2. Man I hope this storm doesn’t disappear. Luckily it’s inside 150 hours!
  3. I don't know if you know this, but here in CNC, we have a very short window. In the 2020s, winter's door is really shut after Valentine's Day here. I'll have bradford pears blooming by the first week of March.
  4. Patterns are only good if they deliver. If it's not going to snow, I would prefer 60s and 70s.
  5. I think it's because of the volume of posters does skew toward Raleigh, as it should since more people live in Wake County than just about all the mountain counties combined.
  6. I feel like the amount I have invested in this storm is not commensurate with what I will receive in return.
  7. Really unfortunate for Raleigh. Which is ironic because a lot of places with lesser snow climo will cash in.
  8. I'll admit, having lived in NC for 40+ winters, haven't seen many tracks right up MYR-PGV-ORF
  9. There were times in the 90s that we went years
  10. Feel pretty good that you will crack 2" in HP.
  11. It’s old school, but a met on here back when it was the old site used to say the SLP will like to ride along the greatest temp contrast. Right now, that would favor right along the coastline. I think that’s the right answer. I know it’s some very farmers almanac style stuff, but I like that sometimes.
  12. Really unfortunate it can’t just pull an ICON and work out for everyone
  13. Brick, you could put this synoptic set up in 1822 and I guarantee there'd be a big warm nose.
  14. According to Allan, the offshore track (or even southern slider) is slightly more prevalent among Euro ensemble members than the inland track.
  15. A bit of an optimist take here for those east of W-S --- I have seen kickers emerge out west before that were poorly modeled. This isn't set in stone.
  16. Can already foresee the homerism regionally. Before the Euro runs, can we please be mindful that just because you like the run, doesn’t mean everyone on the forum will (ie. West vs eastern NC). Thanks.
  17. Not a great run for Triangle-east at all. Was not expecting an inland runner.
  18. Interesting this has gone from a Saturday afternoon storm for Triangle folks to a Sunday one.
  19. Def a little west of where you’d like it for the Triangle. Lots of CLT and Greenville SC folks on here.
