I’m normally a very (almost ridiculously) positive person but I’ve lived here long enough to know better...I’m in the bridesmaid zone, the last guy picked in gym class and the friend zone...
Yeah but this is now a south Buffalo and west Seneca special...what looked so good no longer does. Probably in line for a few inches at best as the band swings through...the dreaded transition zone
Yeah I’m guessing the NWS is not on board with that based on my above post...not that they’re right but if they thought there’d be a more southern band those 2 counties would not be involved at all.
I’m not sure if this scares or excites me so I’m scared but Niagara co and Orleans co are under a winter weather advisory for 5-8” of snow. Reading the tea leaves until they update the AFD means they are believing this is Buffalo north towns special.
The rub, from what I’ve been reading, is the Euro is trying to have more of a progressive pattern than the GFS. It isn’t fully in board with the idea of a PV outbreak lower 48. IMHO Euro has been off this year.
WIVB is definitely using the HRR...mike just showed the exact same “forked” band one in the north towns and one in the south towns and they connect just after the 90 split.
Looks great. I think from Hamburg op to west Amherst really shares the wealth over the next week. It’s almost too exciting honestly...you’d hate for that “oh shit” situation
HV? I’m taking my two oldest next weekend out there to learn for their first time. I figure conditions will be the best they’ve been in years so no better time to teach them!
