    I can’t see across my street...by all accounts the heaviest snow rates I’ve ever witnessed

    I haven’t witnessed or heard but radar is showing 5 lightning strikes in the past 5 minutes

    Heavy snow ATM might be here for a bit and the band out over Erie seems to be growing a bit

    TWC just showed the whole radar and almost 2/3 lake view, the band is shifting pretty far near long point and if I remember correctly that equates to about an hour upwind. Winds in Cleveland are almost SSW at this point. Looks good for us for early afternoon

    Watch the end of the radar loop...the band is still nudging north. Best returns should be over the metro shortly.

    Band has definitely merged, snowing here again and it looks to be in this state for some time...being on the northern periphery I’m not expecting much more than an inch or two but it will get me to 4 or 5 inches

    Southern band has definitely shifted further north and is almost near the 90 interchange. My guess is this continues and the two bands become one.

    Can anyone else see breaks in the clouds above? Still snowing but a weird look for sure...never mind I’m in the split part of the band right now, wondering if the southern band makes it this far north

    The southern band does appear to be shifting north. This could get pretty interesting around 9am or so

    Intensity has picked up again moderate to almost heavy, very little wind ATM

    Much lighter here but flake size has increased again.

    Not so much here 3 or 4 at best and this band has weakened considerably, in and out of heavier snow almost cellular like. Good news is it’s not moving and should merge.

    If this continues in this way then a foot will be reached over most of northern and central Erie.
