    Not to split hairs but not much guidance shows the heavier axis over the south towns, I think this their south bias on models.

    Ummmm...Andrew Baglini on 4 just called for 3-6” for the event...due to dry air...they have NO BAND for almost 10 hours on Saturday am to early evening...honestly what is wrong with them?

    Agreed. I do think you were on to something with the strong winds and they mentioned the dendrites getting shredded but I agree if this locks over the metro for 12 to 18 hours all bets are off...that’s a full length if a basically wide open lake with aligned winds and moisture...

    Let’s be honest as well, this isn’t your run of the mill LES situation...the NWS is already alluding to potentially serious weather conditions due to the wind speeds...I think your idea of blizzard conditions is spot on and has a real chance of occurring.

    Man an inch of QPF would equate to about 18” of snow.

    That’s surprising based just on where the PV is going to be next week...you can see a bunch of lobes rotating around around the base of it. I’d be shocked if we didn’t see a long lasting event.

    CHANNEL 4 HAS SUCKED LATELY...as the storm was happening last night on air neither Andrew or Todd wanted to go above .3” for KBUF...the plows came by this am and I cleared away the 5.1” I received between last evenings 3.5 and Tuesday’s 2.1...they are not performing well at all right now...toss anything they say at this point...and every one if their models is south biased, they will have the LES event over southern Erie...book it.

    515 am HWO for Friday night Saturday for metro Buffalo and northern Erie for possible heavy lake effect snow and significant blowing and drifting...
