    Point forecast for Williamsville Friday and Saturday would have 24 hours of Lake effect. It is Wednesday so I’m guessing watches may be issued at the afternoon update?

    These are KBUF’s greatest events...multiple day lake effect opportunities that spread the wealth. This COULD be epic...now we wait.

    That’s a great post Dev. I think we lose some of the base but it looks “warm” for about 18 hours and at best it might tickle 40. As long as we don’t get too much rain I think a crusty couple inches will he left just in time to be replenished...hopefully in a big way!

    About 3”here in Williamsville and lightly snowing as the back edge goes through...nice little event and a total of almost 5” between both days...overachiever

    I agree, my good friend is Aaron Mentkowski and is solid. We went to high school together and played soccer together as well. Good guy and is one of the 40 participants in the 11 day power play.

    Just watched WIVB...have they become the worst station locally for weather? Not that any local Mets are great anymore, however, radar clearly shows moderate snow over all of the Niagara frontier and no sign of slowing anytime soon...their in-house model shows it stopping by 6pm...no joke. It also says .3” fir KBUF, I have that already in the last 40 minutes. Also not one mention of the lake effect for Friday night or this weekend. They really went down when Don left.

    It appears to be drying up here as well. Has not pushed much further south over the past hour and it appears the front edge is being eroded...

    Either way I think all of Erie county in that time frame scores well, jackpots too early to call but the normal areas of west Seneca/south Buffalo to Hamburg and east aurora

    Yeah we’re about to hit real winter over the next 2 weeks. I’m not seeing a 30 degree temp after Friday am for at least 10 days
