  2. Moderate snow here in St. Johnsbvury at the moment
  3. Last week Eye on the Sky reported the museum in St. Johnsbury was at 142 days and needed to get to Saturday to break the record of 146 set in the early 70s. I do not know if they made it.
  4. All snow here, fresh coating.
  5. A dusting overnight. yay?
  6. On the radio this morning the Eye on the Sky report said a Danville VT watershed report said it is the 3rd highest water content in the snow pack since 1960.
  7. Curious I just did the same and this video came up: Pretty interesting stuff.

  9. What are the best Froude numbers for Tolland upslope?
  10. 6.5 very wet inches. Snow has restarted after a lull.
  11. Wife confirms it is snowing very heavily at the house at the moment. "a few inches at least"
  12. Hanover NH webcam. http://www.dartmouth66.org/webcam/ Looks good even in the valley
  13. We had an inch when I left the house a 6:45. It was snow almost all the down to 91. The drive to St. J was not bad as the highway was mostly just wet. Snowing at a very good clip here in St. J. Meanwhile our Subaru is in the shop and the loaner has summer tires. grr I need just 7.3 to get to 100" for the season. Let's see if this gets me there. (I likely have 2 or 3 extra from 11/9 but I was out of town and could not measure)
  14. moderate snow here, 32. Only a new coating so far
  15. 34 and drizzle here. Temp dropping steadily.
  16. SO for my home I am thinking between 2 and 18 inches is the range of possible outcomes at this point.
  17. 18. The FV3 loves me (or at least loves my plow guy's bank account): Canadians do as well:
  19. I appreciate that they have a tiny dot over my place that bumps me up to the 3 to 4 range while the rest of town is the next level down.
  20. Wrong time of year to cut the firewood. This time of year we clean up the dog poo which is unveiled by the melting of the snow and fight over who gets to keep the winter's roadkill as they thaw out.
  21. There was a storm in mid-April of 92 which gave BTV about a foot with less east of the Greens. I was up and visiting the WRJ area and there was a surprise couple of inches. Elevation dependent except for West of the Greens. I have no idea what the set up for the storm was. It was a couple or a few weeks after the Montpelier floods.
  22. GFS at 42 hrs is 4 mb stronger and a tad east of 6Z https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/?model=gfs&region=neus&pkg=mslp_pcpn_frzn&runtime=2019032012&fh=42 And at 48 it is a tad SW so yeah noise
  23. Albany and BTV clearly have different thoughts at this point.
  24. 18 Z has me missing the good snows by only 5 miles instead of 20. In terms of jackpots, Woodford VT is always the answer
