Crazy wind up here and tons of blowing snow. Moderate snow with over an inch so far. 18.

Still 32 here with zr continuing. A lot of ice now. Ill measure in the morning.

31 here with about a quarter inch of ice so far at least. Ice is continuing to accumulate on everything.

29 and moderate freezing rain. Ice is accumulating quickly. I am in a high sheltered valley on the east side of Roan highlands surrounded by 5500 plus foot peaks so cold air gets trapped in these situations.

28 and sleet/zr here. We had about a half inch of snow with a hard crust on top.

My temp just rose from 38 to 55 in 20 minutes!

I was confident that would the case for the last storm in my location (far northern mountains) and Pensacola ended up with 14 inches.

I have 31 inches so far about two miles from the Tennessee border in Avery County, NC but I’m at 3800 feet and over 70 percent of that was upslope. -
Absolutely! At my location, I’ve measured a bit over thirty inches (over 70 percent upslope) so far. Would be shocked to get blanked on upslope over the next few months with the likely MJO pass and seasonal trends.

Maybe for the lowlands. Ton of snow in the high mountains in 2018 until mid April.

We are getting hammered here in Roaring Creek. Didn’t expect this. For the last few hours there has been very little wind, the flakes are huge and visibility is very low. We have about four inches so far.

For the last hour we’ve had blizzard conditions at time in Roaring Creek. A little more than inch so far with plenty of drifting. The temp is falling rapidly and is currently 23.

SREF is pretty terrible in the mountains generally.

Light snow in Roaring Creek. Temp is 33 and dropping quickly. Already a dusting and I would imagine it will get quite icy soon.

An inch of new snow in Roaring Creek at 3800 feet and still coming down. Temp is 31.

27 and moderate snow in Upper Roaring Creek. Flurries on and off all day before it finally came over the mountain. About a half inch so far and some blowing snow.

Arrived back at Roaring Creek at 530 last night to 4-5 inches of snow. Tons of drifting (and compacting) so very difficult to measure. Another .75 -1 inch last night with occasional blizzard conditions and very low viz. Hanging at 33 with a brisk NW wind and occasional flurries.
