  1. Temp has dropped a couple of degrees to 35/21 dp still but nothing reaching the ground
  2. I've got 5-6 inches over my house.....so I'm jinxed as well, right?
  3. Ok so now TWC site is calling for 3-5 inches for my area around Monterey on Thursday 11th......and of course NWS has nothing......
  4. AccuWeather all of a sudden changed the forecast for my area to 1-3 inches for Saturday night, after having a dusting all week. Afraid to hope......
  5. Well I downloaded the page but I can't figure out how to do it haha. Any suggestions? Anyway if you want to read it , just click anywhere up here in Cumberland county and you should be able to get it.....
  6. NWS Nashville has interesting discussion for next week. I'm kinda new to this and I don't know how to copy the discussion under my forecast and bring it here. But for the first time they are saying a possibility of a heavy snow event for next week. I will try again to import it.
  7. Same here Shocker0....and it's 29 degrees hardly any wind to speak of, although earlier it was quite gusty. Flakes are small but steady and nothing much on radar that I can see....
  8. We lost 20 + trees in that ice storm, and had no power for 11 days. I think this area around Monterey was kinda the epicenter. The thing I remember was how quiet it was until the wind started picking up Saturday morning, and then all you could hear were the trees snapping and crashing.
  9. Same here, Shocker0, and temp dropped quickly from 33-34 to exactly 30 when it started snowing
  10. NWS just issued a WWA for us.....for 1-2 inches . Surprised because they've been saying rain and snow mix no accumulating snow the last few days. Hope it pans out!
  11. Got basically a dusting from first band.... hovering between 29-30. Conditions are perfect if the next band is heavier . It looks healthier than the last one if it makes it to the ground !
  12. Yes I was amazed at how accurate that map was- I measured before the melting started and I got right about 4 or a little less in spots, I'm in the blue spot also - our elevation is much higher than in town. You might have gotten more than you thought
  13. I don't have access to a good radar picture, but it's still snowing at a good clip , medium and small flakes mixed. Approaching two inches, I hope you get this in your neck of the woods!
  14. It was this wave, didn't get but a dusting from the first wave
  15. Have about an inch , light snow falling , holding steady at 29 after going to 30 briefly
  16. It's 29 degrees here, the ground seems semi- frozen ( as much as possible since it got dark) , if we get anything it should pile up pretty quickly without too much melting....hope the next bands don't fall apart
  17. Measured 3 inches here last night, seems like it has packed down somewhat this morning.
  18. About an inch here . Flakes are maybe nickel sized and holding steady at 30 degrees
  19. Lol I've done it also! Just about the last snow of the season and at the last minute it swung about 50 miles south of me ,so I got on the road!
  20. Nws moved the start time up to 8 pm for us in Cumberland - was reading the forecast discussion...still nothing here and temperature has dropped a degree or two to 30
  21. Was wondering what effect that will have- hasn't gotten above freezing here all day either, so will that help the totals?
  22. Nws finally issued WWA for the Plateau. They have 1-2" with possibly 3" in spots....
