    AccuWeather has snow periods for the next two hours for my location.... seems to be something on radar but I don't have access to a Hi- Res one ..... could that be true? Thanks!

    Nws extended the wwa for Plateau to 3pm - forecast says 80 % chance of 1-2more inches . That would be more than we got last night if true -

    Thought it was over here in Cumberland, several bands never reached the ground, but it's accumulating quickly under this one!

    Could someone explain why it seems the Nashville wx office ( which is the one that issues for us in Cumberland county, not sure why we aren't under Morristown?) always is the last one to post any wsw/ or watches , and they are always a lot more cautious. They usually end up boosting the totals at the very last minute if ever, which makes them wrong alot IMBY . This time it's gone from getting maybe 3-4 down to an inch now .....ugh. I know it's hard to predict for the plateau, but sometimes I can get a better forecast from Morristown. I'm kinda new to posting but really learn a bunch from the other members, thanks! I'm about 10 mi NW of Crossville and several hundred feet higher in Cumberland county close to the Putnam county line

    Temperature has fallen pretty quickly the past hour and is now 32 degrees and trying to spit snow...so far just cold mist/drizzle

    Ok,cool. At least I know it's accurate. My grandfather installed it a long time ago, good to know it's still working! Yes the wind is crazy!

    Snowing harder now than it has all day, temp 26-could that be right? Maybe my thermometer is off a bit

    I'm in between Crossville and Monterey closer to Monterey/ Putnam co and it's 38 here down from 42 and the wind has ramped up

    had about given up on seeing anything but rain. Temp has fallen to 29 and a mix of sleet and snow is falling. I don't see anything on radar here in nw Cumberland Co.but glad to see something frozen!
