  1. What’s going on with the crypto FTX scandal is one the most blatant openly biased and “paid for /protected “ behavior of a CEO whose company took billions of customer dollars and is being protected by many as he was second biggest political donor . It’s honestly a good case study if you aren’t emotionally hooked to a party to be unwilling to find fault in them (**bc you worry admitting that will weaken your side against the party you dislike) which you can’t stomach . For the benefit of your kids and everyone , People need to stop having 2’nd grade level processing about “their candidates “ when someone for either side of the aisle is this blatantly paid for , you need to do better and stop worrying it will “hurt your party” to see the embarrassing nature of this ( I was never invested ) but SBF is very connected if you didn’t know ..and his media coverage has mostly mirrored that to the point of (without hyperbole) being embarrassing . For the record , as most know I think both parties are chalk full of professional liars who say what folks want to hear and believe to secure a vote and further their careers .
  2. Bob you never bought into the period up to the 14’th or so looking good , what do you think of the 15-20’th at this time range if anything (and I realize u were talking about for SE mass )
  3. Thanks for that post will . Are you concerned that temps have been steadily moderating as forecasts get near 10 days , meaning any continuation of moderating shifts would make this less favorable for inland areas , or no more than normal
  4. Scott can you comment on the 0z eps , blue waves Negative assessment of 11-15 period (linked on first post this page) and how it may differ for SNE , weenies are wondering if crow is to be served or wether things look good , Shaky or whether we simply wait to see if 12eps mirrors 0z before adjusting potentially
  5. Not many posts this morning , must be a busy am commute @Damage In Tolland, does that sound accurate
  6. Lol I was just copy and pasting that myself . So He says we torched into even la la land is what he’s saying . Now the EPS could flip again on ENS but the idea for the last week is for things to warm up on guidance as they get inside 10 days . That would lead to very above normal temp departures For the month . My guess Thou is interior northern New England (mountains) could still cash in if that played out . Also from 6-15 look about plus 3 or so for SNE so not a crazy above normal but the trend has been going the wrong way for a week . But know you will see posts about hour EPS sucks and 10-15 days is la la land which it is .
  7. Ya for Exteme NE mass it would be a small miracle for it to somehow flip to snow and get advisory or better . We all know I’ll drive the Corsica to 2k in hillbilly township
  8. Chilly 25 in Bedford Ma. I need a snow gun
  9. Cmc had a little compromise on that system or an extension of some moisture wrapping in toward interior E CT over toward Foxboro to the tune of a few inches (I realize it won’t happen like that but I was at least encouraged the model had a airmass that supported snow there ) Gfs turned what initially look to me like a no chance (cutter) 17’th storm into a late sort of transfer / coastal hugger that buried ski resorts in la la land
  10. Ya , I mean I wanna see it stay amped and I’m hoping euro can move to it to keep things worth tracking to me
  11. Gfs looks more amped as it approaches Illinois for 10’th system , there is a decent banana high situated over the top of it so that should keep it interesting
  12. Gfs rolling , Let’s see if dopamine drip turned on or off
  13. Are their ticket sales down I mean what competitive advantage do they have . I mean I can see smuggs attraction a lot of Burlington folks due to location , Bolton being the value spot that it still dumps , Stowe the upscale ski resort experience . Killington - big size and decent ski town . I could be wrong but I don’t see their competitive advantage when there are so many options . Must be difficult for many resorts to stay profitable enough, is Sugarbush one of those that doesn’t have a big enough “fan base” , or am I wrong on that
  14. They did have a couple lifts open for the season today . They spun 4 according to their website but with 6 total trails . Not that bad (I don’t Think) a couple years ago or last year they had a poor showing claiming their snow guns were stuck at attitash or something
  15. There is a chance I’ll be somewhere near 2K if there is a snow bomb within 3hrs Otherise I’ll be there and my brother will probably join me / he lives In the wooo. He’s a smaller snow weenie but does love a good snow .
  16. For snow bingo 3 5 and 15 are big hits on GEFS for 9-11’th system for either CNE/NNE or interior . Ens #15 shows you how to thread the needle for E mass into NH/ Maine
  17. Nah , but I have pics from hunter mountain . I was more seeing if you remember it , I could be wrong On the heights not being 518 There were a few nor’easters that march , maybe 2019 ?
  18. Maybe a couple years ago in March , when we had 34 degree rain , nor’easter and deep easterly flow and it snowed along western SNE border and hammered Catskills , and we had like .5-1c 850’s and a bit of a torched BL
  19. Was just wondering lol . Most runs of that system (wether they were more surpressed or amped ) have a notable surge of moisture coming in off the ocean just as The precip envelope from the system cutting East across Pennsylvania starts to spread its precip shield over us . I assumed that west warm moving surge of light precip from the East (distant ocean storm or whatever) was also responsible for maybe torching the BL
  20. Ski’d Sunapee today for first time . Called them in am and tried to get a straight answer about the snow conditions from a human and they were polite and honest . Got there with my 9 year old buddy and we had a blast . Semi challenging terrain as he wanted to start at top but he did well . I believe they made snow last nite and groomed so it was decent .We will be back as it’s a convenient drive . Crowds were not busy today , thou the main run from top had solid traffic . Was better conditions then I Anticipated and If you ski the East it wasn’t really bad at all . They had tons of guns blazing from 215 on and it had a good vibe .
  21. What would facilitate more of a cold press ahead of that system
  22. That Friday - Saturday-Sunday system On 18z gfs drops 4” in spots of SNE , if That’s Snow somewhere I may be there . Hunter mountain looks as good as any in that set up .
  23. Couple flurries at Sunapee this afternoon . 32 at base , 20’s up top was cool when they fired up a ton of the snow guns ...made me want to get some lol
  24. I bought one, but I don’t have it hooked up , so far I’m just glad me and my gf’s 9 year old made it down smoothly from top
