lol thats only because December is no longer a winter month, but neither is March.

wow theres a difference between Long Beach and here too as we had a powdery coating on colder surfaces....this was sort of like what we had in late November here.

I dont get why theres' so much of a difference, it's snowing here but it's more like a powdery coating on roofs and grass and cartops. Did the storm come too far north? These storms are better when they stay at the latitude of ACY or Cape May

I dont think monthly avg temps truly define how hot a month really is. March 1990 easily beats all other Marches for me in hotness.

What's needed to see a 2010 type summer? I guess a strong el nino could do it, the summers after those happened tend to be hot.

December can no longer be considered a winter month, it is the fastest warming month of the year. We really only have two month winters now.

I thought this was an arctic airmass, why arent we much colder than this? It's not like this is mid april.

it's sobering to learn that the late 90s had four straight winters (and five out of six) with less snowfall than this winter. Interesting how the early 90s had more normal snowfall winters, was Feb 1991 the month when we had that 36 hour surprise neutercane snowstorm?

How did JFK only have a high of 59? I call BS on that report. Islip was higher and they have a much longer trajectory over open water with a SW wind than JFK does! A SW wind crosses central NJ and only a very small swath of ocean before reaching JFK.
