  1. well at least you got more than Philly. Them ending up with only 0.3 inches of snow on the season is near historic.
  2. so you saw it hang on until nightfall? it ended here around 4.
  3. The pattern delivered and produced but this is not a pattern that would benefit the coast or the city, that much was apparent from the beginning. Besides a few blip model runs, this was always a N/W pattern. Too little too late-- the theme of the entire winter.
  4. I noticed the sound is at its widest point north of there plus being in the middle of Long Island has some advantage over being on either shoreline (elevation?)
  5. Yeah like 3 of us said 5 inches at the same time which was really weird LOL triple match! Why does that area always jackpot? Must be something other than sheer coincidence.
  6. Maybe this would have been 5 inches somewhere on Long Island if it had happened at night. I just said that in the previous post before reading yours....MATCH lol
  7. at this rate Brookhaven to Coram is going to have like 5 inches lol MATCH lol
  8. Yep, I would say trace too, my roof did grow some white hair for awhile but other than that nada
  9. Meanwhile some us thought it was going to be at least 50/50 that NYC would keep preserve the chances of a new record. 0.6" in day time snow this time of year in this scenario in NYC was never going to be easy to get.
  10. yes big dryslot from NYC to Nassau County also needs to be factored on, it was sticking earlier when it was snowing hard and it lightened up a lot around 4
  11. should be at least a T the area from NYC to Nassau County has been under a dryslot for awhile now though
  12. it's like moss, it always sticks to the north side lol
  13. it's about 4 inches more to the north of here
  14. Yeah this isn't VD 2007 when whole highways were shut down lol
  15. I'd say that's about 3-4 inches, what do you think?
  16. Man that place sucks, I'm glad I have 2,000 feet over them lol even if I'm south of them...got a cam for where I-80 and I-81 meet? Or a cam near Lake Harmony?
  17. wow nice, we can pretend this is the storm that gets you to 50 inches and think of it as a great winter lol
  18. it's fun to see it falling and blowing like this
  19. what happened to ol' yeller, I thought he went to an animal sanctuary
  20. it's snowing hard enough for it to start sticking to roofs here now and that wind is blowing like a true blizzard
  21. It's actually starting to stick to the roofs around here now, down to 33
  22. it looks awesome from a 2nd story window, just pretend that ground does not exist
  23. I remember it was on a Friday night and then we had snow squalls all day Saturday
  24. Yes very late season snowstorms usually come after a cold snowy winter....had that in 1996 too.
