I can't recall the last time it was this dry in this area. Seeing as our overall weather pattern is a pattern of extremes, I'd hate to see how our climate compensates for how dry we are...

I would give up the next blizzard for this to just be plain rain. I hate ice storms. -
For once I'm hoping for 33 and rain. The last thing the NYC Metro area needs is a catastrophic ice storm.

Can we please make a rule on here that prohibits anyone from talking about March 2001 whenever we're expecting a big storm? It's like a curse.

Not that I want this at all, but I fully anticipate the EURO caving to the GFS at 12z. If 12z EURO holds, then the 18z GFS will have to back down. We can't have one model showing a few inches for NYC and another model showing 2 feet. I just think that's looney.
