  1. Better check the 06Z Euro. And take the GFS out when you take the trash out this morning.
  2. 06Z Euro crushes WNC. Plenty of moisture available.
  3. It really does. Just rotates the bands through our area for hours.
  4. Lawd. I’m gonna have to go get some stretchy pants on.
  5. “Fixed” it to where it now has somewhat a dry bias in its mid range.
  6. Been it’s bias to be too dry since it’s “upgrade”.
  7. And stronger. That’s been the theme of the day.
  8. There’s a reason it’s the 4th most accurate global model based on verification scores.
  9. 09Z SREF mean is up to 3-5 inches across WNC.
  10. Drops about 7 inches at your homestead. I still don’t buy that precip split before it cranks up. Probably ticks up in subsequent runs.
  11. Great trend at h5 level. Surface will follow suit if that look continues
  12. No matter what happens the rest of the NAM run, the changes early in the run are exactly what you want to see if you wanna see snow.
  13. Agree. Closed and going negative over Northern LA.
  14. Heavy stuff still in north Georgia at the end of the run.

  16. Think that was sorta established the other day. So much blocking to the north, no where for it to go but southbound and down.
  17. The moisture will come as it always does within 24-48 hours of event, assuming these Synoptics stay on the table.
  18. Yeah I was saying how bad the ICON as a model has become. It’s awful.
  19. It’s amazing how bad the ICON has become. Pitiful.
  20. It’s a fine line, further south and less amped is cooler but less moisture.
