    Will someone please update me, in the most layman terms, what is expected for this weekend? I'm having a hard time following. I will be a vendor at the Fairfax Fall Festival on Saturday and at Clifton Day on Sunday so it's more important to me than usual. I don't know much about this stuff. I follow along here because I feel like I get a better idea of what's happening than I do with TV or a weather app.

    I don't know how that's possible. Bz is -4.28 and kp is only 6. We aren't seeing anything at Reddish Knob.

    We drove 2.5 hours to Reddish Knob in GW National Forest hoping for the best. We have our dog and snacks so we're prepared to wait it out a bit.

    I'm in Clifton VA. Trying to decide if I should hop in the car and drive west or wait it out at home. A previous post indicated that the clouds are supposed to start clearing around midnight.

    Seems mostly rain with a few pings thrown in, but I just stepped on my deck and it definitely has a coating of chunky bits. (Clifton VA)

    I went to an event the night before. On the way there I heard on WTOP that we would have flurries the next day. When I left the event a couple of hours later, I heard on WTOP that there were blizzard warnings going up. I'll never forget that.

    Is that where the covered bridge flooded out? I heard something on the news, but didn't quite pick up where it was.

    Oh my! My mother-in-law lives in Falling Waters. I'll have to check in with her. Has it subsided at all?
