  1. Mt. MSF help up. I'm shocked how well we kept some ice pack - figured for sure we'd have open spots in the cover. Last evening the fog was legit thick.
  2. Was that it for the winds? Pretty meh. All that snow Up Der is just bananas. Lots of homeowners insurance claims to commence soon.
  3. Two yrs ago we had a record high of 71 on this date.
  4. Couple decent sunsets this week. Failed on the second one with the sun trying to peek out after the ice event - or maybe it was the day after, shrugs.
  5. Gorgeous Day today with sun and pretty light winds. Another stinker of a weekend on tap. Second weekend in about 4 where the snow will get nuked. Lets see if my MI Snow Freak pile can hold up. I'll be glad to have the walkway clear of the ice though! Wish the Feb sun could have done work there this week.
  6. Best ice "storm" I've seen imby today. But as usual here along the lake there is always something missing before it becomes out of hand.
  7. What makes all the snow up there most impressive to me is the amount of system snow vs LES fluff. The water content of that snowpack must be pretty robust. Ninja!
  8. Just bad luck for SE, MI and not a great location to be honest especially in this winter pattern that's acting more Nina vs Nino. Northeast has received plenty of precip and huge snows up north, When Northern England and even Boston area is getting pounded that normally bodes well for us here and to the west/nw.
  9. NAM was good with showing the potential Quad area Band. Been fun riding the 12K NAM out.
  10. It's tough. Seems we can't shake off a easterly wind until July of late.
  11. Sounds about right this winter. Couple taste of winter than a cutter to nuke us only to go back to winter like stuff. Feelings of a miserable spring incoming again.
  12. Seems sun has mostly only come with frigid winds.
  13. Looks like the NAM 12k is the only model able to throw a few rouge juicy runs up here. Lets Go
  14. Put down a few Brats for me and enjoy the snow pack up there.
  15. LoL at being so Upset at LOT in such a Conditional System. Bitter apple
  16. Winds are fairly light so the snow is actually not falling and just ripping off towards the shore line so maybe we'll get a nice dust up if the wind can come in angry. Friend of mine just now out in Redding, CA. sent me a picture of our next next storm later in the week 1st time she's seen snow in, Feb.
  17. Sure, Joey. From breaks in the cloud cover and stars to Moddy snow showers now. Only this winter.
  18. Good point. Moon and stars were out an hr or so ago. Back to some snow. Lets rip some drifts later now.
  19. That your forecast sucked for the Quads. Better luck next time.
  20. High end advisory stuff on the southern edge of MKE County. I absolutely would have included MKE and Waukesha but with it coming in two waves, possible taint and dryslot it wasn't a slam dunk. The timing of the heavy snow was definitely going to cause issues and what do you know the NAM was right on the money along with the big grande cheese EURO in this one up here. QPF amounts were there for me to AUTO Warning this for all of Southern, WI. Somehow stayed 99% snow here but the first 1/3 of the storm was a pixie joke as usual in MBY like every event this winter. Winter storms are so finicky and this will have been a good lessons learned event Dammed if you do and Dammed if you don't for LOT and MKE offices. Good thing Cyclone low balled his area and didn't go with the ChiStorm model output.
  21. Going in to this winter I was sweating another congrats, DTX. El Nino, +PNA AO favoring the east, SE Trend alive and one could go on with winters prior trends. Nice to get a wrench thrown to humble. 2 events in 84 hrs. So much uncertainty yet. This is a new one.
  22. I'd appreciate some of what the GEM ingested. GFS/GEM could play Cheech & Chong
  23. The first month and a half of winter wasn't rough enough. Sick addiction.
