  1. Text book white rain out there with a few wet spitballs mixed in.
  2. I've prepped for this exact situation. I'm old and have seen how this can kind of event more than likely plays out. Nice steady rain cleaning up the driveway nicely
  3. of course most know how to interpret the snow maps and take them with a grain of salt in each event situation. The euro paints the picture of 2-5" and the likely areas with the better chance of hitting the higher end.
  4. why would the euro be to high unless you're the 1% along the lake
  5. Mocked for even looking at P&C. MetFan stuff there
  6. he's learning. If its dancing lessons you need he's your man.
  7. it could go either way but I'm favoring you overcome the odds and it pounds long enough to get you at least 2" and possibly several
  8. can't wait to see you Jeb walk snow pics tomorrow. Radar is going to be lit up down south.
  9. 2" just measured on north facing patio. we wont go measure the south facing driveway lol. wet driveway and roads after shoveling and plows came through 3 hrs ago. shades of the fall snows. Nice seeing snow fall all morning though.
  10. p&c lol. he has no material for this one anymore
  11. The gfs not run Crawl out of bed to relieve myself and thought why wouldn't I check the forum real quick also. Hopefully the Euro brings out a little chatter.
  12. drip drip drips of melting snow drifts off the roof this AM. Just need the sun to make an appearance now and maybe we can pop in to the 40's
  13. Far SE, MI. is the king of DAB++ events. Without those pennies in the pot and the streamers off Lake MI. 150+ miles away they would resemble the winter wonderland winter climo of Omaha Nebraska.
  14. We thirst for more snow because we live in a very volatile winter climate thats highly conducive to winter suckage back of pina colada's on Christmas eve's and children hoping Santa brings them snow making gun kits.
  15. They probably have close to a 30" snow pack in parts of the snow belt in, WI. Hardly any of it has come from LES.
  16. Not many truer words spoken. And ultimately why I remain in MKE. I wonder every winter why I'm still down in the cities - and what you said above is what my non-weenie brain resonates with. This winter I have a cousin that moved east on HWY 2 by roughy 7 miles only and the struggle to keep up with a 7 mile move to Saxon, Wi. has been so surreal to follow through him. The brutally long winter struggles are real up there.
  17. Right on, Beavis. I getcha and happy to hear your plans are still on to move north and find what you crave. Funny - just before you replied I let the dogs out and smiled big watching them run off in to the 2" (lol) snowpack and do their thing. Grabbed my afternoon coffee and admired the bird feeders flocked with birds and the white landscape. Snow is definitely my best therapy and this small dose was much needed ATM. I REALLY hope the late week event works out white for as many in this sub-forum as possible. Sometimes bigger isn't always better. The landscape left behind by even 2" felt like sleeping with a big one.
  18. Having said that.. as much as I adore a true winter weenie's dream climate there is not too many folks I know that went to the extremes as him and moved to the LES Belt outside of Bo, and Will from this forum. Huge props and respect to them. I say I could move up there and live that dream, and I could have and still could easily. I remain in MKE. Hope I don't regret that later.
