UMB WX

Euro had sorta that look a few times earlier and then went for a few drinks with GFS and NAM but it's sobering up. I didn't feel this was a good candidate for a substantial SE trend but now I think those up here and north shouldn't be surprised if the EPS slip away the other direction some, It doesn't take much in this storm to miss out on most of both waves. Lots of game to play yet in this one.

Madison seems to get their Big ones when I taint in far SE wisconsin. My Big storms I dont think Madison fares nearly as well most of the time. Madison seems to be a good location for deformation snow setting up and double dipping. Maybe that's harder to come by back by cedar rapids 12 yrs ago was in some of our prime years back this side of the lake. Its been tougher finding Big Dog/Warning opportunities for all of us up here since that run.

Been some time since MKE and Chicago shared a good storm together. Let's toke up.

Yeah its hell-bent on sweeping your our significant other off to a buried cabin in wisconsin. It wouldn't take much for it relax to a more smooth look. And I don't think the other models are a far adjustment off to be something more exotic. Hopefully the models can tighten up through the day tomorrow and if they do kudos. Knowing their challenges going in I have to give the models a pass so far. They have made it very entertaining at least and with some luck hopefully a lot of us can get in on some snows and lets be happy for anyone lucky enough to walk with the elusive Big Dog

It was a given models were going to extremely struggle with this messy system. At least now the players are getting on the field for the models to have a chance. Ukie has been incredibly insistent. One has to wonder how that's possible it could sniff out the coup so far out.

Coming off a torch weekend it's pretty cool we even have a chance to score a little snow tues night in to wed here. Pretty much a different model left for everybody to hang hope to yet.

Well Euro was wetter/snowier but painted a different picture to get there. I'm leary of this being a good case for a south trend. I'm not good with temps but i'd take the weenie euro snow map with skepticism around here.

I don't even know if the UK brought the initial wave in to the buckeye state at 12z yesterday.

Euro been pretty steady since yesterday. I think it will come in wetter/snowier but same general picture as last night.

Good stuff gang. Couple twerks and the GFS can get itself straight. Fun one to track. Been awhile.

Cooked as of now on the gfs and appears nam. with wave one coming in farther north compared to yesterday that really screws up any chance of the northern wave digging enough to benefit most of us. def not time to throw in the towel and will be fun to see how this comes together in the end.

We toss that run like a frisbee this weekend.
