  1. Other than NE TN and the mountains, it appears to be trending the wrong way for most of us. Still snowing in NE TN on this snow map through 84.
  2. If this does come to fruition, would the changeover to snow in eastern areas be happening Thursday evening/night? I always have trouble reading the timing on the models.
  3. Most GEFS members agreeing with the GFS. I count about 75% of the members showing roughly the same thing as the GFS. CMC is showing some light snow across most of the forum area after the front moves through, but not as quick of a changeover as the GFS.
  4. We definitely have 2 camps and we will just have to wait and see which model caves first. I believe Euro caved to GFS during the last system so we shall see. My guess is we wind up with a blend of the two.
  5. I'm just going to ignore that Euro run and ride the GFS for the next 5 hours.
  6. Doesn't all the models show that low in the Lakes region ahead of the front and then the new low develops in the south along the front?
  7. GEFS has decent representation for this far out as well. I agree that I do like the consistent cold front coming through. This should be a fun one to track over the next 5-6 days.
  8. Euro has the low developing along the front. It develops a little late for mid-TN, but East TN gets a little something at the end.
  9. I haven't looked at the JMA model much (honestly don't know what it is usually used for), but this is what it has at 192. Looks pretty good for us to my untrained eye.
  10. Looks like CMC holds the energy back a little bit and it winds up phasing a little later. Not as big as a hit for mid/west TN as the last run. Looks like East TN gets some wrap around snow as the low travels up through East TN again.
  11. CMC had an odd run. Develops the low along the front around Christmas and it comes up through east TN. I would think middle TN would score with that look. Although, at this point, it is an outlier.
  12. A long way to go, but it appears GFS is the new Dr. No. Now that I think about it, this totally makes sense in the year 2020.
  13. 12z GFS was about the same through 132 as the 00z and 06z. On to the CMC and Euro. Will be interesting to see which model caves first.
  14. 2 runs in a row for the Euro. What could go wrong a week out?! Seriously though, I think we mentioned this time frame as something to watch about a week ago, so pretty awesome something is still showing up to watch.
  15. I'm not sure where to post this, but looks like the HRRR was updated.
  16. It is fantasy land, but what a beauty at the end of that GFS run. It has been hinting at something around mid-December. It is at least a window to watch. It is also followed by some bone chilling cold.
  17. Been having light snow/flurries for about an hour now near Karns. I can see it just starting to stick on some of the grassy surfaces. Will be pretty white out here soon at this rate!
  18. Thanks John. I was just on my phone looking and saw it earlier.
