I'm in New Windsor, Carroll County for this one at the fire department. There Catoctins have a fuzzy appearance to them, always a good sign. Plus Site R is reporting 8SM visibility so it must be snowing there lightly.
100% agree. My thinking that we could get some top end potential 6"+ from yesterday is gone. But that's not a bad thing. We're looking at another solid advisory level event headed into a weekend.
I'm sure there will be a post here shortly about 500 mb or 200 mb being off or something, but year if we treat this as a high end advisory level event then we'll be happy. It's snow on snow.
Yup. I went to MU as well with him, but he was going through the met program after I transferred out to Geography & Emergency Management. Pretty sure he was my lead forecaster for a semester. Solid dude.
Latest SPC mesoanalysis is showing I-95 and points west with some great lift in the dendritic growth layer. Should see some legit moderate or even briefly heavy snow soon.
