    JMA has a 100kt jet at 500mb rounding the base of the trough. That's beautiful. That's how you win at snow.

    We do best when the 500mb vort passes between I-66 and I-64.

    I'm sure there will be a post here shortly about 500 mb or 200 mb being off or something, but year if we treat this as a high end advisory level event then we'll be happy. It's snow on snow.

    Latest SPC mesoanalysis is showing I-95 and points west with some great lift in the dendritic growth layer. Should see some legit moderate or even briefly heavy snow soon.
