  1. Once this spinning pinwheel of crap gets out of the way we will be back to May weather. We had better days in March.
  2. With the rain gradually ending, my two day total is sitting right around the 4.50" mark. Definitely didn't expect that, and I'm really impressed with some of the 6"+ totals that have been reported. Looks like a grey and cool week ahead, but I think starting Saturday we enter a much nicer and warmer period.
  3. This has been an early start to spring with the warmth. A lot of stuff blooming and starting to turn green. We get a cool down now but next week looks to warm up again (not like this, but more seasonable). I do have to say though, the heat the last two days has really thrown my brain a curve. It's weird seeing spring blooms with 90 degree temps like you alluded to.
  4. Did the final tally today, ended up with exactly 15 inches on the season. Believe it or not, that's not far off from the last few years IMBY, with 20-21 being the obvious exception because of that crazy February stretch. 19-20 was worse off, and only saw 13 inches, none of which fell in February or March. Last year had slightly more at 21 inches, but it should be noted that January was a lot colder and therefore we had a lasting snowpack. @rgwp96 @ForestHillWx Looking forward to a gradual transition to spring now with the increasing average temps and longer days.
  5. Same, I guess we'll see if the delayed spring trend continues.
  6. Of course. Spring starts in a few days. Gonna be 2 months of rain and dreary now.
  7. Snowed pretty good all day here, just took awhile to add up. Pavement stayed bare for the most part, except certain areas. Mostly just limited to grass, deck, patio tables, etc. Measured roughly 3.2" or so. The wind was relentless. I guess it was a very "wintry feeling" day, and probably the last for most of us until next year.
  8. Nice, by the time I was home it was too late to measure lol. An inch in March is pretty much gone like that.
  9. @rgwp96 Did you measure this morning?
  10. @rgwp96 Hey saw you measured 5.2" by you, up the hill I recorded exactly 5.5" which isn't bad considering how things have gone.
  11. Can't believe it, but I was actually looking forward to tracking this storm and now watching it play out. I guess I need some snow before I can appreciate spring warmth.
  12. Thanks, kinda figured around that lol.
  13. Turned out to be a soaker here, right around 2 inches of rain. Had some heavy downpours last night. @rgwp96Any idea what we got before the changeover?
  14. Been snowing here all morning but nothing sticking to any surface.
  15. Just cracked an inch here with the last downpour.
  16. If I'm not mistaken, the average high is around 39 for the city right now, and in July at this time about 85. So let's say we have a 50 degree day now, that's +11, so -11 in July would be 74.
  17. If we were to turn around and get a good February and at least half of March, that could still "save" winter. I mean you can't expect wall to wall cold and snow, we just don't get winters like that these days.
  18. Despite the warmth we've become used to, this upcoming stretch is really impressive. First week of January with days and days of 50+ highs and some lows not even dropping below 40...that's insane. It's not like this past week where we had a temp spike but then it crashed the next day.
  19. It's 3° here. Didn't expect that.
  20. We still have two solid months of winter, and who knows what March can bring. I think the expectations for December are always too high. It just isn't an ideal month for snow like it used to be. So far I have about 3 inches for the month, all of which has been washed away.
  21. Hanging around 34° currently. I was impressed at the onset how heavy the snow came in. It coated everything very quickly including the roads that had salt residue from the last storm. Been rain ever since though, heavy at times. I'd say we got maybe 1.5" before the changeover.
  22. Not a bad event here at all. Measured about 1.5" out there. Crazy how time flies and we're back into the snow season again. Definitely makes it feel more like the holidays.
  23. Might be first teens tonight. 28 currently. This stretch through Thanksgiving looks great.
