  1. Really a shame because the pitching has been good, in general. Unfortunately, with a young and inexperienced staff, arms are going to get tired by July or August.
  2. Also, where’s @losetoa6? This is his kind of storm.
  3. No doubt. That’s a mess any day of the week but combine the holiday and snow and I’d be in a bar.
  4. Don’t lie when you make your report. I want that drink!
  5. @MN Transplant What can you tell us about the Condition Monitoring map on CoCoRaHS?
  6. The skies this evening have been a 10. I took this just now walking to a buddy’s house for a porch whiskey.
  7. My only experience with groundhogs is the one that grazed in my leased garden plot in Columbia back when I had a condo. Every night he would eat what he liked and take one bite from my pumpkins and spit it out. I swore I’d kill him if I had the chance. Then one night after working an Os game, I was heading home late and decided to water so I wouldn’t have to make the trip out the next day. Sure enough, I heard rustling and he was in the garden eating stuff. I picked up a shovel, inched closer to within striking range, he didn’t move, and I wimped out. I shared all my efforts and decorated with scarred pumpkins that year.
  8. I was there last night too. How the heck do you load the bases with no outs and then strike out three times?
  9. It’s like you poked a sleeping bear and now he’s up and roaring.
  10. 31 for the low and up to 33 now but still frosty in the shade. Should be a perfect spring afternoon for the O's home opener!
  11. We hiked Annapolis Rock today. Blustery but beautiful.
  12. Regardless of where they play, you’re not allowed to attend.
  13. I just looked at March and going back 35 days to March 7, twenty-five days of a trace or more.
  14. I’ve had at least a trace of precip on eight of April’s ten days so far. Only 2.25” for the month but still an impressive pattern.
  15. I was just trying to check out the scene there but I can’t get the cameras to open on my iPad. I thought maybe the cameras were down for the off-season.
  16. Another .68" and parts of the lawn are a jungle.
  17. Everything about the Masters course is a landscapers dream. I even love the straight edge on all the bunkers and how they are filled with salt-like sand almost exactly three inches below the cut. The consistency and precision across the course is inspiring. The annual fanfare around the Masters is deserved, but hopefully Augusta National will continue to confront its racist and gender privileged past. That needs to change, though I know I’m preaching to the choir with you. That said, I love watching it. And having the possibility of Tiger around for the weekend makes it even better.
  18. I love watching the Masters to see what my azaleas will look like in three weeks. And would love to see Tiger roar this weekend.
  19. Record high April day coming next week.
  20. Indeed! 1.31” and still some more coming down.
  21. April clippers. Where have they been the last five winters?
  22. An allergy pill every day for the last 20 years and hopefully 20+ more. So many things are better now than when I was a kid and that includes allergy meds. I remember lying awake for hours as a kid in spring and fall so frustrated because my sinuses were 100% stuffed. Did the weekly allergy shots as a kid too and tried as an adult but they’re too inconvenient.
  23. This would be the best news for the WFT since before the Snyder era. And best, it might be goodbye Snyder.
