    I can’t wait to retire so that I can finally admit to myself that the only reason I look forward to summer s because I get 8 weeks off. It truly is the worst season by far.

    I wish that I wanted a backyard station but I already get too frustrated with the weather. I don’t need a fancy machine to emphasize how much I hate getting no rain and too much heat in the summer, or no snow and only windy cold in the winter.

    Sad to read that monarchs are on the endangered list. It makes me want to get serious about planting a butterfly garden. Any of the butterfly pros in the forum having luck this year with caterpillars?

    I’m doing my Quarter Tour. Whatever the Tour de France does each day, I try to do a quarter. I’ve done pretty well. Over 400 miles the past three weeks! eta: damn. I thought this was the banter thread. I’m too tired to move it. Sorry folks.

    I just finished a 25 mile road ride. The heat kicked my butt. I’ve got an ice pack on the back of my neck now trying to cool down.
