The UP is having a huge snow year and Weatherbo has been completely silent. Anyone have any idea what happened to him?

It got a little windy here today. I think outside of hurricane Ike when I lived in Central Ohio this is the highest wind I have ever recorded.

Given this week's drought monitor update it would sure be nice to see some active and wet weather. A lot of the region needs precip regardless of what form it takes.

Same thing here. December and January started out with snow and melted it all off in the final few days. February is starting to feel like the movie Groundhog Day.

Had a mix resembling white rain but leaning towards snow here. Didn't accumulate though.

12Z was certainly different than other runs. The Euro doesn't agree but at least the GFS is saying there is a chance.

I thought calc 3 was easier than calc 2. Good luck with difficult equations as we called it. That is a class either you get or you struggle for sure.

One of, if not the largest snowstorm in SE Ohio was in April.

The 70's were crazy snowy in SE Ohio when I was growing up and it is convenient that the first data set includes that and the second doesn't. Not saying snow totals haven't declined just maybe not a fair comparison.

The lake has been good to us in the western part of the state. Already above average for the month and have exceeded the entire total from last year also.

Yeah, I am waiting to see some reports from that area. Twin Lake in Muskegon County has 14" as of 7:00 last night and Fruitport had 12" at 10:00. Wish that was over me, but I will take what we got. It is definitely winter here and I am enjoying the change from the last couple of winters. Now if we can just get the rest of the forum to get snow. A nice west to east bowling ball low would be a good start.

MKG picked up 10" yesterday on 0.22" qpf. Crazy they had 45:1 ratios. Definitely going to be some settling occurring there with snow that fluffy.

Euro seems to think it is going to get cold again to start February.

As long as Lake Michigan stays open for business I am fine with the cold at least until I get my utility bill. The constant 1-3" daily with occasional bumps as a SW passes through has been pretty nice. Not so much for anyone else though.

GRR went full on winter storm warning through Thursday. Looks like areas near the lake and to the north of Holland could get a pretty good storm out of this. Maybe 8" or more in some spots.

Continues the theme of the summer/fall. The same reason most of our sub was at some level of drought. Just can’t get anything to come this way on a regular basis.
