    Route 8 up near 228 got some decent storms earlier today. We had to halt play on the golf course at one point since lightning struck like a mile away.

    Ehhh I got a cold that knocked me on my ass. This weather does not help anything. Looks like a decent shot of some storms later this afternoon. I was gonna golf but that's looking like it is a lost cause.

    90s don't interest me one bit. It was mid 70s and sun here at the beach and it was perfect. 90s and high humidity is just oppressive.

    Down Outer Banks and now we are under a Tropical Storm warning. This is gonna get interesting.

    I'm guessing Pittsbirgh rarely ever gets a moderate-high severe outlook. Seems like enhanced is our usual max for severe storms.

    Yep I work on the North Side but our emergency board was lit up with wires down/ trees down calls all over the south side and east end.

    Tim I love severe weather what I don't love is how everyone of your posts is always negative. You posted yesterday that it looks like the storms are gonna split AGH County and you were 100% wrong. That isn't the first time either.

    This isn't enjoyable. TimB you bitch about not getting severe storms and how it's gonna miss AGH County but then we get this shit. My powers been out for 4 hours and now most of my food is spoiled. As far as the storm goes that had to be a microburst because I've never seen it rain so hard. Not to mention wind gusts were easily over 70 mph.

    I know basically no one is posting anymore but boy does it feel like mid winter out there right now. 20s with that wind blowing and its the coldest I felt this year.

    You are extremely negative about everything. We could be getting a blizzard of 2 feet and I could see you saying "well what another let down living in this crappy area. The Mid-Atlantic is getting hit with 3 feet and of course we are only getting 2 feet."

    Am I the only one not disappointed in this winter??? We had a storm over 10 inches that all fell during daylight with some good rates. We had a solid White Christmas. We had multiple 6+ storms. December finally wasn't a dud like usual. Ill take front loaded winters over backloaded any day. We didn't quite get the big daddy storm or arctic air but all in all if winter ends today I'm giving it an A-

    Sir we literally had like a 10 inch snow storm three years ago at the end of March.

    I'm curious to see how the rest of winter plays out. I never bet against a strong upper level low that dumps on us come March and April. You can already tell how the sun angle is affecting things. Even yesterday when it was 20 degrees the snow was still melting with the sun.

    NAM is keeping the colder idea alive for Monday. A couple inches are possible on the NAM. Looks like the snow would come around mid day. Something to keep an eye on for now.

    Well unless the CMC is correct looks like we take a break from tracking for a week. Next week is interesting atleast on the GFS and para. Para has a bowling ball that just goes W to E and destroys Baltimore with 2ft. Its been a fun a year of tracking. I'm used to sitting here and looking at models and just hoping a SSW takes places or modeled blocking actually holds in place.
