  1. NAM is chasing convection so the totals could be higher. This thing should be on land by 0z tonight atleast the one shortwave. Maybe with sampling we can get a better idea of what's gonna happen. I just don't want the southeast to get the riches again. Regardless there doesn't seem to be much precip with this system so any really totals out our way is gonna be hard to achieve.
  2. As long as it doesn't cost them the future he would great. They aren't a QB away from being a superbowl contender so trading a bunch of picks for somebody is dumb. Is Russell a F/A this offseason?
  3. Unfortunately as usual this looks to get really going too late doesn't mean we can't get a decent event though.
  4. I'm not even a huge NFL fan anymore but watching him walk off gave me chills. It was something out of a movie.
  5. Meanwhilenthe Mid Atlantic is getting crushed with up to 15 inches. We are so snow starved and I just know it's gonna be a late winter
  6. yikes hopefully it's just the normal mid range model mayhem and the models start to bring it back tonight or tomorrow
  7. As Bernie Rayno says this could be the windshield wiper effect. I never bet against last minute NW shifts either.
  8. Maybe a coating tomorrow from the system that looks to be south of us and then possibly a moderate event next weekend. Nothing to write home about but may finally start seeing snow and not rain.
  9. Looks like the 7th is our first legit shot at snow. Euronhas the bullseye a little far out but still a long way to go.
  10. All it takes is one Feb 5 or Jan 1994 storm and I'd be happy. If it's notngonna snow I would rather it be warm.
  11. Not everyday you get a tornado warning on your phone.
  12. Places out east got hammered. Ef4 tornado ripped through NJ. 10+ inches of rain fell in parts and it was just pure chaos. I saw a radar graphic of a place in Tennessee got 17 inches of rain in 3 hours. This storm while not on the level of Katrina sure did a lot of damage
  13. only 2.25 fell at NWS at the airport. I'm guess it was maybe slightly higher around the city.
  14. just left work but Washington Blvd I'd under water and Sawmill Blvd. Multiple cars stuck
  15. I'm sure I'm only one who has been awake since 2 but it's been pouring pretty hard since then.
